We’re seeking a UX/UI Designer to own all design execution across KREWE.com. This role combines both UX (User Experience) and UI (User Interface) design, where you’ll focus on understanding user needs, crafting user journeys, and bringing them to life through on-brand and functional design solutions. You’ll report directly to the Sr. Manager of E-commerce and work closely with our Art Director & developers to ensure a cohesive, branded, user-centered design approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the development & creation of wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.

  • Create adaptable designs that provide optimal user experiences across a variety of devices, including desktop, tablet, and mobile.

  • Identify UX issues and propose thoughtful, scalable solutions across digital platforms.

  • Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design solutions and make necessary adjustments based on user feedback.

  • Regularly review site & consumer data to inform design decisions.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (design, developers, brand, and marketing) to define project goals, technical constraints, and ensure designs are feasible and aligned with overall brand vision. 

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems & processes, ensuring consistency in application & evolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of user-centered projects.

  • Expertise in mobile, tablet, and desktop design best practices.

  • Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability testing, and accessibility standards.

  • Solid understanding of how to interpret A/B testing, conversion, heat map, and critical path data.

  • Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a huge plus.

  • Experience with animation or motion design is a bonus.

Salary (for New York only): Up to $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

+ Deep familiarity with best practices for organizing and tagging content and understand how to efficiently structure content for copywriters and authors
+ Analytical skills for interpreting user research and analytics to inform content ideas. Passionate about taking data and designing elegant content solutions.
+ Understands human-centered design principles and passionate to contribute to design projects
+ Passion for storytelling and the ability to review, edit and recognize quality content - copy and creative asset execution
+ Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-functional team and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
+ Experience working in iterative processes and in an agile environment
+ Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills
+ Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within multi-functional teams
