Reporting to the Vice President of Online Gaming, this position requires a blend of online gaming experience, technical program management expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

The day‑to‑day responsibilities include
  • Build and execute the live streaming game development program, managing all stages from concept sourcing and market feedback to prototyping, production, testing, and launch.
  • Conduct market research to create an analytical framework for game selection, ensuring high confidence in performance and alignment with business goals.
  • Establish strategic partnerships across industries (Game Studios, Media, Entertainment, Video Gaming, and Creative Agencies) to maintain a steady pipeline of game concepts.
  • Own the game portfolio, product roadmap, and product pitches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, vendors, and development prioritization to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead the RFP process to select the best partners and vendors, ensuring quality and alignment with project needs.
  • Provide executive‑level reporting on KPIs, status updates, and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed on progress.
  • Monitor game performance post‑launch and recommend improvements to maximize revenue potential.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product success and consistency with brand vision.

The ideal candidate will have
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in casino gaming, online gaming, technical program management, product management, project management, and partnership management preferred
  • Strong background in gaming supplier management, including vendor relations, contract negotiations, and building long‑term partnerships
  • Extensive experience in vendor management, ensuring quality delivery, managing timelines, and fostering productive relationships
  • Technical program / project management experience, driving projects from concept to delivery while focusing on technical and business outcomes
  • Experience in digital interactive experiences, particularly in creating engaging gaming products that drive revenue and user engagement
  • Ability to obtain gaming licensing as required by various jurisdictions required

About the Role

EverPass S treaming Engineers are expected to have a working knowledge of all areas of our product, from the point of view of our customers and staff. This enhances their ability to add value by proposing the best solutions to their needs .



The Tech Stack

Our applications use React, Apollo Client on the front end and Nodejs, graphql, Mysql, redis and elastic search which are split across multiple services. All of this lives in a mono repo with turn key docker powered development environment allowing you as a developer to focus on what matters. Everything packed in a next generation PWA (Progressive Web Application) running in kiosk mode on Google Chrome OS devices, making us one of the first Google partners to build PWAs for the new ChromeOS web API's.



Some Example Projects

  • Streaming pay per view sport events in commercial venues through our PWA POS integrations with multiple providers to gather sales insights

  • Real time curation of User Generated Content into tv like channels

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative live streaming workflows.

  • Develop support tools, scripts, and dashboards to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot encoding and segmentation issues to ensure seamless streaming.

  • Maintain and support our live encoders and VOD transcoding farms.

  • Document workflows and standard operation procedures for knowledge sharing.

  • Provide guidance to external teams on live encoder/packaging workflows.

  • Have a general understanding the EverPass platform and its components, and how to match our quality standards

  • Keep their team updated with their own status

  • Be able to identify risk and propose solutions to complex challenges

Knowledge & Experience

  • Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 2+ years of progressively complex related experience.

  • Experience in a video OTT/broadcast environment.

  • Basic understanding of DAI workflows in an OTT environment.

  • Ability to work independently to solve problems in both the video and IT domains.

  • Proficiency in video codecs and compression (H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC).

  • Familiarity with audio codecs and containers (AAC, PCM, AC-3, EAC-3, MPEG-1 Layer-II).

  • Comfortable working with Mac, Linux, specifically on the command line.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams.

  • Basic scripting experience (BASH, Python?).

  • Comfortable troubleshooting with Transport Stream and Elementary Stream analyzers.

  • Experience with video transport protocols such as RTMP, SRT, Zixi, HLS, MPEG-DASH.

  • Experience working with AWS Elemental products considered a plus, but not required



Expected Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for a new hire into this position is $155,000 - $175,000. In compliance with local law, the range above reflects the current hiring range for this position. EverPass takes into consideration the qualifications, skills, and experience of the candidate, expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. EverPass expects to hire for this position at the mid-range salary, with the possibility of considering a higher salary only in rare cases when EverPass determines an external candidate possesses exceptional qualifications significantly exceeding the job requirements.

About the Role

EverPass Streaming Engineers are expected to have a working knowledge of all areas of our product, from the point of view of our customers and staff. This enhances their ability to add value by proposing the best solutions to their needs.

The Tech Stack

Our applications use React, Apollo Client on the front end and Node.js, GraphQL, MySQL, Redis, and Elastic Search which are split across multiple services. All of this lives in a mono repo with a "turn key" docker-powered development environment allowing you as a developer to focus on what matters. Everything is packed in a next-generation PWA (Progressive Web Application) running in kiosk mode on Google Chrome OS devices, making us one of the first Google partners to build PWAs for the new ChromeOS web APIs.

Streaming pay-per-view sport events in commercial venues through our PWA POS integrations with multiple providers to gather sales insights.
Real-time curation of User Generated Content into TV-like channels.
Content scheduling and programming for multi-region setups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative live streaming workflows.
  • Develop support tools, scripts, and dashboards to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot encoding and segmentation issues to ensure seamless streaming.
  • Maintain and support our live encoders and VOD transcoding farms.
  • Document workflows and standard operating procedures for knowledge sharing.
  • Provide guidance to external teams on live encoder/packaging workflows.
  • Have a general understanding of the EverPass platform and its components, and how to match our quality standards.
  • Keep their team updated with their own status.
  • Be able to identify risk and propose solutions to complex challenges.
  • Keep themselves updated with the technologies involved in our platform.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of progressively complex related experience.
  • Experience in a video OTT/broadcast environment.
  • Basic understanding of DAI workflows in an OTT environment.
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems in both the video and IT domains.
  • Proficiency in video codecs and compression (H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC).
  • Familiarity with audio codecs and containers (AAC, PCM, AC-3, EAC-3, MPEG-1 Layer-II).
  • Comfortable working with Mac, Linux, specifically on the command line.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
  • Basic scripting experience (BASH, Python).
  • Comfortable troubleshooting with Transport Stream and Elementary Stream analyzers.
  • Experience with video transport protocols such as RTMP, SRT, Zixi, HLS, MPEG-DASH.
  • Experience working with AWS Elemental products considered a plus, but not required.
