As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency, quality, and productivity of our advanced manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and youll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.
In this role, you will impact the overall success of our manufacturing operations by implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful new product introductions (NPI) for the Engines & Power Systems (E&PS) sub business unit.

- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 2+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
WE VALUE
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets
