What You Will Do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740

• Own income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit

• Participate in analysis of economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities

• Build relationship and partner with various tax, accounting and business team members to understand and optimize various business tax positions

• Identify and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities that will provide value within the tax accounting organization

• Own and collaborate on consolidated state tax accounting footprint, including but not limited to, state tax ETR, state attribute utilization and valuation allowance analysis, state cash tax positions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Progressive career experience in corporate or state income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles

• Proficient understanding and application of ASC740 principles including but not limited to income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, valuation allowances, etc.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view

What Will Put You Ahead

• Foundational understanding of state income tax concepts including apportionment and state filing types

• Experience presenting financial concepts to various audiences to effectively engage stakeholders and partnering with others to bridge gaps and solve problems

**About the Role**
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable **Senior Product Manager, Lease Accounting** to join our CoStar Real Estate Manager and Visual Lease teams focused on developing cutting-edge **Lease Accounting** and Portfolio Management solutions used by thousands of companies around the world. This role is integral to delivering new features and capabilities that align with complex accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87) and other accounting compliance needs our customers will face as additional guidance is released. **Key Responsibilities**
**Be the Lease Accounting Expert:** Organize and share best practices related to corporate lease accounting processes
+ Stay updated on lease accounting rules established by domestic and international financial accounting governing bodies

**Basic Qualifications**
