Our Ramp Agents are responsible for the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail as applicable onto the aircraft, along with guiding the aircraft to and from gates. You will be ensuring the secure and prompt handling of aircraft on the ground, in compliance with safety standards and airline guidelines. The duties extend to providing support for various ground operations, playing an important role in maintaining the seamless flow of airport services.

**WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A RAMP AGENT**

+ Repetitive loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail as applicable onto aircraft with accuracy

+ Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts

+ Read and analyze aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels

+ Marshalling aircraft to and from gates

+ Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground

**QUALIFICATIONS**

+ 18 years of age or older

+ Eligible to work in the United States

+ Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for servicing, inspecting, repairing, and managing the overall quality assurance program for the corporate aircraft and associated equipment in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and IS-BAO standards as defined in the Company Flight Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures. The Director of Aircraft Maintenance is a leadership role responsible for the strategic oversight, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence of Cardinal Health Aviation's maintenance department. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure company owned aircraft maintenance activities adhere to FAA Part 91 regulations and manufacturer (OEM) manuals. A "Part 91 maintenance job" involves ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft operating under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 91, which governs private, non-commercial aviation.

  • Direct and oversee all on- and off-equipment maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules and aircraft readiness for flight. Ensure that all maintenance records, files, logbook entries, supporting data and manuals are kept current, organized, signed off, and retained in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM and Company requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure adequate tools, equipment, and resources to perform job effectively. Forecasting, and the ongoing planning and monitoring of operational and capital expenditures.

  • Oversee maintenance record-keeping and ensure the appropriate tracking of aircraft maintenance events. Establishing and tracking maintenance performance metrics.

  • Foster a strong safety culture and maintain high standards for quality in all maintenance operations.

  • Serve as a liaison between the maintenance department and others (pilots, scheduling, etc.) to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Performing routine maintenance duties, troubleshooting, aircraft cleaning, database updates, and other assigned tasks. Servicing of: oil, oxygen, nitrogen, and tire pressures. Perform inspections at specific intervals, as required by Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 91, Subpart E.

  • Collaborate with and manage relationships with third-party repair facilities, vendors, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts with MRO's, OEM's, and other vendors to optimize spend and ensure service quality.

  • Analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and enhance fleet performance. Ensuring that all discrepancies are properly documented, repaired or deferred per the MEL, and that the aircraft is in airworthy condition prior to each flight.

  • Representing the Company in industry forums and contributing to best practices in Business Aviation.

  • Ensuring that all maintenance performed on the company aircraft is accomplished by qualified maintenance personnel and MRO facilities. Managing personnel and outside vendors to ensure adequate maintenance support to achieve high dispatch reliability rates.

  • Ensuring that tools and equipment used on the aircraft are properly calibrated. Removing unsafe or unairworthy aircraft from service. Participating in the Safety Management System.

  • Ensuring coverage at home-base for aircraft departures and arrivals. Assisting pilots with loading of passengers and baggage.

  • Other duties as assigned by the VP of Aviation.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in aviation maintenance, with specific experience in FAA Part 91 (Corporate Aviation), troubleshooting, and inspections. Familiarity is IS-BAO standards.

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&) certificate

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Ability to travel 25%. REAL ID-compliant driver's license. Ability to obtain a U.S. passport.

Job Summary

The Lab Technician - Aviation Maintenance performs general duties that are of a technical nature in a specialized area. This role maintains and provides tools and equipment, performs diagnostic services and minor repairs, and performs other functions to support the aviation laboratory.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Laboratory Technical Support

  • Distributes tools and equipment to students for classroom and laboratory use, documents disbursements, and collects and stores tools following use. Cleans tools, equipment, and floor. Cleans and maintains the lab area. Opens and closes the Lab at shift end and ensures equipment is stored in the proper location to secure the Aviation Lab.
  • Ensures tools, equipment, and training aids are functional, operational, and performs needed diagnostic service and minor repairs. Replaces tools and equipment when necessary. Prepares new training aids and donated vehicles for laboratory use.
  • Performs vehicle preventive maintenance. Charges batteries, maintains fuel levels, monitors tire pressure, and performs other maintenance of a routine nature. Schedules aircraft work for laboratory projects. Orders aircraft service and repair, labor time and estimation manuals, and updates automotive computer programs.
Inventory & Clerical Support
  • Maintains and updates inventory of tools, special service kits, equipment, stock items, and vehicles. Monitors disbursements, orders needed items, and obtains bid offers on new equipment.
  • Utilizes college-approved contractors to ensure proper handling and disposal of waste oil and other hazardous materials. Keeps accurate records. Completes and maintains required documentation, including inventory reports, work orders, and requisitions.
Program Support
  • Assists instructors. Obtains and returns training materials, sets up vehicles and other training aids, and arranges chairs, tables, and equipment. Your Opportunities
Stantec is looking for an experienced aviation engineer to join our team and provide ongoing aviation services across Ohio. The role of a Aviation Engineer is to lead various airport engineering and planning projects at commercial service and/or general aviation airports. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and strong initiative are a must.
Our Airports Team is taking airport design to the next level. From roadway to runway or full terminal design, we'll take your career to new heights.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical specialist and consultant to the transportation engineering discipline on aviation related projects.
- Prepare reports, develop project design elements including plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project's purpose and need.
- Peer review plans and provide quality control reviews of technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
- Mentor junior staff in technical design elements and the development of project documents.
- Corresponding with clients, attending and participating in airport authority meetings, and providing guidance to Airport Managers, Airport Authorities, or Client Engineering Staff.
- Preparing grant administration paperwork for the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA's) Airport Improvement Program (AIP), as well as State grant administration.
- Provides guidance to Resident Engineers during construction with the ability and confidence to solve problems as needed.
- Approves contractor's pay estimates and leads discussions with contractors.
- Recent experience developing aviation projects funded by the FAA and State of Ohio is desired.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Thorough knowledge and application of FAA design standards and specifications
- Proficient in design of aviation/civil engineering projects including alignments, profiles, typical sections, site grading and drainage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- MS Office program experience, especially Word and Excel
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or higher Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- State PE License is required.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering is preferred.

The Aviation Intern will support the planning, development, and execution of operational initiatives within the Flight Department, with a focus on unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This internship offers hands-on experience in aviation operations, data analysis, regulatory compliance, and safety management. The Aviation Intern will receive mentorship from experienced aviation professionals and exposure to real-world utility aviation operations and technologies. Key developments for the intern will include:
+ Assist in the planning and coordination of UAS operations and flight schedules
+ May act as Remote Pilot in Command of select UAS missions
+ Support data collection and reporting for operational performance, safety metrics, and compliance tracking
+ Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and scheduling teams to ensure operational readiness.
+ Contribute to the development of project execution schedules and crew briefings
+ Provide administrative support for meetings and document preparation
+ Engage in safety management system activities and risk assessments
This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence three days per week and remote work two days per week.
**Required Qualifications for Position**
+ Must be a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Aviation, UAS Operations, or related field
+ Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
**Preferred Qualifications for Position**
+ Prior experience with UAS-related projects
