A Procurement Analyst is a specialized professional who operates at the intersection of supply chain management and financial analysis. This position has a critical role in optimizing procurement activities by evaluating suppliers, analyzing cost structures, and assessing the overall value obtained from procurement endeavors. This role is crucial for supporting the use of digital tools and development of robust procurement strategies, key performance indicator (KPI), dashboards, enabling the organization to take decisions that drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in acquiring goods and services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Conducting detailed spend analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
+ Support category strategy development through market research, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations.
+ Maintain and enhance supplier performance scorecards and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel.
+ Monitoring market and industry trends to anticipate price changes and supply chain disruptions.
+ Track and report Category KPIs such as savings, payment terms, eAuction spend and other value delivery metrics.
+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements
+ Utilizing procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing processes and data analysis
+ Preparing and presenting reports on procurement metrics and progress to management
+ Recommending process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations
+ Update, maintain and facilitate the category Monthly Operation Review (MOR) and Operational Master Plan (OMP) sessions.
+ Prepare quarterly newsletters and industry insights to keep stakeholders informed of market trends, procurement initiatives and key category highlights.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in the Data Analysis, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Procurement
+ Experience in SAP, Power BI and other advanced data analytics tools preferred
+ Experience in Microsoft; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
SKILLS:
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
+ Problem solving skills to effectively address complex issues that arise in a category, with suppliers and Nestle factories
+ Strong analytical abilities for data analysis and cost savings evaluations
+ Excel in data analysis and data interpretation
+ Ability to work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
