**Qualifications**
+ **Education** :

Who You Are
**Required Qualifications**

**Responsibilities**
+ Design of water and wastewater treatment facilities
+ Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of small to medium sizes
+ Responsible for budget, schedule and quality standards
+ Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments
+ Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to civil/environmental engineering field
+ Carries out complex assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures to create new or refined equipment, material, processes or methods
+ Assists in proposal preparation and interviews and may be included in contract negotiations with clients after selection
+ Develops relationships with existing clients and has responsibility for client maintenance at staff level on existing projects
+ Works closely with subconsultants on projects
+ Active in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conventions
+ Travel required when requested
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
+ 10-15 years of wastewater design experience in the field of environmental consulting engineering with an emphasis in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design
+ Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain upon employment
+ Must have demonstrated experience with managing and designing medium sized projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
+ Experience designing wastewater treatment plants, including development of conceptual/preliminary designs and detailed design document preparation
+ Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
+ Deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints
+ Experience working with wastewater collection systems and water and reclaimed water transmission/distribution projects
+ Proficient in MS Word and Excel
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
**Pay Range**
$100,000 to $150,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
