Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deal Desk Customer Service Specialist to support our sales and business operations teams in delivering timely, accurate, and customer-ready proposals. This individual will coordinate cross-functional inputs, manage quote documentation, and help optimize RFQ submissions to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Engineering, Business Operations, and other internal teams to gather and consolidate inputs

Prepare high-quality quote and contract documents for customer submission

Ensure RFQ deadlines and customer requirements are met with clarity and accuracy

Manage quote revisions, extensions, and contract updates within company guidelines
-
Identify and avoid market/channel conflicts in quoting and contract processes
-
Maintain major customer documentation using Vendavo
-
Support continuous improvement by participating in cross-functional process optimization efforts
-
Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience supporting quote, pricing, or sales operations processes

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines

High attention to detail with a consistent record of accurate, error-free documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency strongly preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable working both independently and within cross-functional teams

Familiarity with Optical Communications industry, pricing strategies, or customer base is a plus

Flexible and adaptable with a desire to embrace new tools and processes
