**Summary**
CHS has an exciting opportunity for an **Efficiency Studies Specialist** within our Go to Market organization. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial and motivated professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, and customer engagement. You will collaborate with wholesale customers to optimize their bulk distribution operations for both energy and agronomy by unlocking efficiencies, identifying growth opportunities and driving increased profitability.
**The candidate must reside within our trade territory, which include the following states like: Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, or Wisconsin.**
**Responsibilities**
+ **Trusted Advisor** : Work in collaboration with enterprise and product line sales teams to serve as a strategic advisor, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that create measurable value for customers by performing efficiency studies. These studies can identify opportunities for increasing volumes and profitability in their propane, lubricants, refined fuels, crop nutrients and crop protection operations.
+ **Subject Matter Expert:** Serve as a resource for operational best practices, logistics optimization, and bulk distribution strategies across the CHS network. Support internal teams by providing insights and coaching on operational efficiency matters.
+ **Preparation and Data Collection:** Partner with wholesale customers to capture operational and transactional information required to conduct efficiency studies. Ensure data is shared with us at the appropriate level of detail, accuracy and structure needed for meaningful analysis and actionable recommendations.
+ **Data-Driven Decision Support:** Utilize operational and industry data to perform analysis, identify trends and quantify opportunities to support recommendations. Apply analytical thinking to generate insights and recommendations, reinforcing your role as a subject matter expert to drive informed, strategic conversations with wholesale customers.
+ **Drive Growth for CHS** : Help CHS grow market share and enhance its value proposition with engaged customers.
+ **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Partner closely with go to market, product line, transportation, finance and IT colleagues to identify and address ways to better serve CHS wholesale customers

**Minimum Qualifications (required)**

  • Performance Systems & Processes
    • Develop and refine our performance management processes, including goal setting, individual development plans, reviews, and ongoing feedback mechanisms

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The Business Systems Analyst role will be part of Wealth Asset Management Engineering (WAME) which is part of Schwab Technology Services (STS). The Business Systems Analyst will be an integral member of the Managed Accounts Technology Team that is responsible for developing solutions that supports both new and existing Managed Account Offers. In addition, the role will support the ongoing growth and scalability of Schwab Asset Management’s Trading and Operations Technology Platform.

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to support new and existing Managed Account Products on our Middle Office, Portfolio Management, Trading and Operations platform supported by a third-party SaaS application, VestmarkONE together with other proprietary built internal applications.

· Work as a Development Team member of an Agile Scrum Team focused on Schwab Managed Accounts on the VestmarkONE SaaS application.

· Collaborate with Product Owners to break down features into small deliverable components.

· Collaborate with internal users to understand business and client requirements and implement solutions that meet those needs.

· Translate business requirements into technical designs implemented by developers.

· Analyze product features and processes for edge cases or hidden requirements.

· Work cross-functionally with various technical and business stakeholders.

· Ensure final deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.

· Develop User Acceptance Tests for products and processes.

· Write technical and procedural documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

· 8+ years of professional experience working as a business analyst or in a similar capacity within the investment management industry.

1-2 years or more of Schwab technology domain experience gained as a recent contractor or employee

· In-depth knowledge of Managed Account products concepts such as Fund Wraps, Separately Managed Accounts and Unified Managed Accounts.

· In-depth knowledge of the various Schwab Managed Account Strategies, including Schwab Direct Indexing.

· Expert level knowledge of the VestmarkONE SaaS application, and broad experience of collaborating with third-party vendor SaaS applications.

· A good working knowledge of Agile Scrum and experience working as part of an Agile Scrum Team.

· Experience building workflows and flowcharts including knowledge Visio, Lucidchart or other visualization software.

· Experience with the Atlassian stack including Confluence and JIRA.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
