Your Role: Engineering Associate (Entry Level)
As a Process Engineer at Clinton Labs, Elanco’s largest U.S. manufacturing site, you’ll join a team focused on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production of animal health products. In this entry-level role, you’ll develop deep technical expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment, contribute to regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
Your Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day process and equipment issues to maintain production performance and reliability
Analyze operational and process data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support decision-making
Support regulatory compliance by documenting process changes, investigating deviations, and applying safety and environmental standards (e.g., PSM)
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams on improvement projects, including equipment upgrades and process optimizations

Working under the direction of professional engineers, project managers, and partners, you will work on challenging remediation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic area, as well as across the US and global locations. Responsibilities will include preparation of remedial designs and management of remedial construction for media including groundwater, sediment, soil, and vapor. In-situ and ex-situ remediation and treatment technologies will be designed / applied at active and inactive sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assist in engineering design associated with various types of process and civil remediation projects for contaminated soil and groundwater, using innovative and emerging remedial treatment technologies as well as traditional systems.

Assist in the design of remediation construction projects, including tasks such as preparation of design calculations and drawings, remediation/construction bid packages, engineering cost estimates, technical specifications, and support plans.

In this critical role, you will be part of the project team that supports ERM client’s needs for decommissioning, decontamination and demolition (DDD) of industrial assets. You will team with project managers, demolition managers, and field safety personnel to develop and plan projects and oversee contractors for the safe implementation of fieldwork. You will be present during all site activities and responsible for all health and safety activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and assisting with DDD projects, including developing scopes of work, reviewing contractor work plans, evaluating scope options, supporting project cost estimates, attending pre-construction interviews, supervising specific tasks, participating in client and progress meetings, documenting progress and updating schedules, performing field safety walks, and summarizing and preparing final reports.

An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employee’s fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are NOT bonus eligible).

The Configuration Analyst analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system, coordinates modification records for management control, establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractors.
