  • Assisting in the annual budgeting process and developing rolling forecasts to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Performing in-depth analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and provide financial guidance.
  • Supporting the evaluation of new business initiatives, investments, and acquisitions through financial modeling and due diligence.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data through robust controls and reconciliation processes.
  • Streamlining financial reporting processes and improving data analysis techniques.
  • Staying current with industry trends and regulatory requirements in the banking and finance sector.
  • Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to the development of the finance team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • CFA designation or CPA certification is a strong plus.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Adaptive Insights) and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
