Starting Salary: $24.24 to $7.73 hourly (An additional 2.00 per hour technical differential is attainable after meeting CBA criteria.)

Job Description

Follow manufacturer's instructions to mix paint materials, etc. to proper color and consistency. Must be able to prepare surfaces and properly apply paint and other finishes to surfaces of manufactured products, building, etc., with brush or power equipment. Properly label and store paint and chemicals. Clean, maintain and store applicators, supplies and materials. Must inspect finished surfaces for proper appearance and use to determine paint build thickness. Daily/weekly TPM tasks must be performed with accuracy and consistency. Minimum supervision. Six thousand (6,000) hours of experience required to perform work, attain skills necessary. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below. Finish Painters are required to work a minimum of twenty (20) percent of each week on painting (and related) duties.

Education and Experience Requirements

A vocational or high school education or equivalent is required plus on-the-job training to learn trade techniques and procedures. Employees in this classification must adhere to the requirements set forth in the Inventory Security Policy. Must be a sole US Citizen
