**Job Description: Possibility Unpacked**
What you'll do:
+ Facilitate and enforce all the company safety policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
+ Provides daily maintenance for the plant, performs mechanical, electrical, and preventive (PM) maintenance functions.
+ Responsible for the maintenance work in emergency break down situations.
+ Participates with maintenance and manufacturing supervision in establishing priorities for routine maintenance assignments.
+ Provides daily electrical maintenance, repair and installation of equipment.
+ Provides technical advice to machine operators and manufacturing supervisors on matters relating to equipment modifications and time estimates on maintenance repairs.
+ Must be able to document changes to electrical drawings.
+ Assists as requested in the layout, installation, movement or dismantling of plant equipment.
+ Assists in inventories of needed maintenance parts and tools to keep manufacturing equipment running efficiently.
+ Must have strong knowledge of general operation of the machine functions and their capabilities to assist the machine operators.
+ Must be willing to work in a team environment with other associates as well as be self-motivated when working alone.
+ Electrical service Technician needs to maintain knowledge of National Electrical Codes for proper installation and protection of electrical equipment.
+ Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, wiring schematics and electrical symbols
+ Knowledge of Aims / SAP is plus
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.

+ **Maintenance & Repair:** Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble faulty components including motors, generators, compressors, transformers, relays, control panels, switches, and battery banks. Perform work on energized lines when necessary.

+ **Cross-Functional Support:** Conduct mechanical repairs on electrical equipment (bearings, gears, shafts, couplings). Assist Multicraft Mechanics under their direction and maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
+ **Documentation & Training:** Maintain accurate logbooks regarding technical problems, changes, and job status. Actively participate in training sessions for new technologies (including SAP) and equipment troubleshooting.
**Qualifications & Technical Skills**
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
+ **Technical Expertise:** Strong proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
+ **Automation Experience:** Proven experience programming, designing, and troubleshooting PLCs and microprocessor-based systems.

+ Troubleshoot all type of equipment to determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
+ Perform major electrical repairs and installations from 480-volt buss down to co-component level. Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.
+ Test and repair all plant electrical facilities using devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
+ Must be able to interpret complex electrical, mechanical and construction drawings and or schematics. Reviewing the blueprints/drawings to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.
+ Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks. Also, provide modifications to plant equipment to increase production capacity of equipment.
+ Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
+ Installs conduit and electrical wiring for machinery and cranes.
+ Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
+ Must have ability to obtain Journeyman Electricians card.
+ Crane inspector card is a plus.
+ Be an active participant in the safety process and practice safe work habits at all times by the guidelines of the NAFP 70E regulation.

Education
1. High School Diploma and 4 years of Electrical Trade School
2. Must be familiar with standard shop math
Experience
1. Prefer 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance
2. Relevant electrician certification or license
3. Familiar with the National Electric Code

6. Must have experience using voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters
7. Basic computer knowledge is required: Microsoft Office

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
+ Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying your PLC knowledge - Alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers. This person must be creative in their solutions without being unclear in their documentation.
+ Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identify and examine production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating and repairing electrical & mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors.
+ Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Seek ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings and maintaining an open dialogue with lead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.
We're Looking for Someone With
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
+ Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
+ Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day. The employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
+ Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant
