**_What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
This position combines data analysis, with physical inventory management of customers various storerooms throughout Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Provide inventory for stock sites
+ Work with authorized government representatives to compose the order. You may never create the order
+ Obtain Government authorization for the order. An Authorized Government Representative (AGR) will be available at each stock site
+ Provide notification on materiel not available to the stock site, within two hours of order authorization
+ Deliver and restock materiel to the stock sites within 24 hours of order receipt (on business days)
+ Provide priced packing lists to the COR or AGR prior to restocking
+ Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks
+ Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
+ Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve
+ Applies judgment within defined parameters
+ Receives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects
+ Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
**_Qualifications_**
+ Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
+ 3-5 years experience in inventory management, project management, supply technician, or data and administration in a healthcare setting, preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 - $165,400/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, job-related knowledge, and experience. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Director of Supply Chain Enabling** to support the Direct Materials supply chain at Western Digital.
