Job Description

Our client, a well-established engineering and development firm, is seeking an experienced Surveying Professional to join their Portsmouth office. This role will be central to supporting a wide range of land development projects across New Hampshire and neighboring regions. Candidates based in Maine or northern Massachusetts are strongly encouraged to apply.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
  • Operate and manage surveying instruments, including total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
  • Process field data in compliance with NH-BOLS standards.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, drawings, and plans.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Guide and oversee survey crew members in the field.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient team environment.


What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS) in New Hampshire, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong proficiency with surveying instruments and related software.
  • Knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
