The successful candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross functional teams.

• Negotiate quotations and place compliant purchase orders for repair of returned units

• Function as liaison between company and suppliers, contact suppliers to ensure customer property and equipment are evaluated, repaired, and delivered on promised dates, determine when deliveries may be delayed and communicate to internal customers, maintain records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns and related matters, approve invoices

• Extract, monitor, analyze, and validate data information from multiple sources

• Manage supplier quality and performance to support customer turnaround times

• Report on monthly metrics to leadership

• Support various DoD and commercial customers in a depot environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing in a manufacturing environment; Master's degree with experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing in a manufacturing environment; 6 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing/Sourcing in a manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of degree requirement

• Experience placing purchase orders and managing suppliers

• Experience with MRP/ERP business systems

• Experience in MS Office suite with emphasis on strong Excel/data analysis skills

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required

• U.S. citizenship required

What You Will Do:

Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist the PM with Program/Facility Management & Forecasting Program/Facility costs.

• Manage a maintenance and warehouse operations team.

• Provide Warehouse Management Support (44,000 Sq Ft facility).

• Conduct Inventories.

• Track Authorized Stock Levels (ASL).

• Creating and actioning WO's for durables and consumables of ASL shortages, push package equipment and requests from supported units.

• Conducting Packaging and Shipping actions.

• Conducting Receiving and Transferring actions.

• Conducting Shelf-Life Management.

• Creation of Load Plans to support bulk equipment movements.

Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities in our data centers. They receive parts, verify inventory, and own chain-of-custody processes for Data Center Technicians and Engineers. They will also be responsible for loading and unloading shipments and transporting parts between different locations. Specialists should be comfortable and willing to regularly drive a variety of motorized vehicles, including box trucks up to 26' in length. Due to interstate operating authority commerce regulations, candidates must be at least 21 years or older. Candidate must hold a valid state-appropriate driver's license, be able to obtain their Driver Qualification File (DQF) and or a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Candidate must obtain & maintain a DOT Med Card and be eligible to drive in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. This position involves frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials and products. Logistics Specialists will be required to keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,400/year in our highest geographic market. Qualified Logistics Engineer will have experience with some of the following responsibilities:
