Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide exemplary clinical care services in the area of oncology.
+ Provide quality educational services in the School of Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy program. Teaching includes didactic teaching (lectures and active learning), precepting experiential students, and mentoring and advising students.
+ Serve as director or co-director for one or more courses in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
+ Actively participate in the training of PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, including PGY2 Oncology residents.
+ Develop a program of scholarly/creative work focused on a specific area of educational and/or clinical research. Scholarly activity includes conducting scholarly evaluations, professional presentations, publications, and obtaining extramural funding for scholarly projects.
+ Participate in professional service activities, including university or school committee work, and participation in professional organizations.

This faculty member in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy will practice as a member of the multidisciplinary teams at the Anschutz Outpatient Cancer Pavilion of the University of Colorado Cancer Center (UCCC). The UCCC is located on the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. The UCCC is affiliated with the UCHealth system and is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Colorado. This faculty member will have clinical responsibilities (30% time) primarily focused in either Neurologic, Breast, or Hematology clinics (specific practice site will be determined by the time applicant screening for this position begins). Faculty in this setting provide a variety of clinical services including provision of drug information and provider education, supportive care management, drug counseling on anticancer treatment and investigational agents, medication review and toxicity monitoring for patients enrolled in clinical trials, and support for UCHealth P&T and Specialty Pharmacy initiatives. In addition to clinical practice, the successful candidate for this position will have academic responsibilities in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (70% time). These responsibilities will include engagement in teaching/education, scholarship, and service. The faculty member will play an active role in the education of pharmacy students and residents through didactic and experiential training. Successful candidates for this position are expected to teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum in required and elective courses and to serve as director for one or more courses. **Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Manager provides leadership to the Radiation Oncology department, while overseeing the day-to-day business and clinical operations, including ongoing clinical competence and staff development.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ongoing assessment and support of the clinical programs for the radiation oncology center and assuring optimal quality care, safety and outcomes for patients and families.

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Radiation Therapist functions as an integral member of the radiation oncology team. + Recognizes changes in the patient's status/condition and reports to appropriate personnel.

+ Utilizes treatment accessories to accurately reproduce the radiation treatment.
+ Expertise in the technical aspects of radiation oncology to include simulation and treatment processes to ensure optimal radiation treatment delivery.
+ Ensures that all QA procedures are complete and within tolerances before proceeding with patient treatment as outlined in department policies and procedures (any abnormalities/inconsistencies should be reported to the proper authority).
+ Works closely with the Radiation Oncologist and therapy team to construct immobilization devices or custom blocking techniques that are conducive to conformal radiation therapy.
+ Utilizes sophisticated imaging equipment for precise tumor localization.
+ Knowledgeable in the areas of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety.
+ Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices as defined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other regulatory agencies.
+ Practices and adheres to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement" of the organization.
+ Practices within the Department's policies and procedures.
+ Works collaboratively with the radiation oncology team to develop an efficient and positive work environment that promotes exceptional patient care.

The Manager provides leadership to the Radiation Oncology department, while overseeing the day-to-day business and clinical operations, including ongoing clinical competence and staff development.
Key responsibilities include:

**Job Overview**
We are seeking an experienced VP Clinical Development, Oncology to fulfill a critical and highly visible role to help shape the future of development at SMPA. This role is responsible for the successful strategic positioning and tactical advancement of the clinical programs, and liaises with Clinical (including Clinical Operations), Biometrics, Regulatory, Early Clinical Development, Pre-clinical research, Medical Affairs and Commercial functions. The VP Clinical Development, Oncology will be responsible for leading and designing clinical programs in Oncology at SMPA.
The ideal candidate will need deep expertise in Oncology with strong leadership skills, scientific rigor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The VP Clinical Development, Oncology is expected to cultivate relationships with scientific leaders and serve as an outward-facing representative of the company to the scientific community. This role will report to the Chief Medical Officer- Oncology and will have functional responsibility for all clinical development activities in Oncology across all stages of development.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
Overview
+ Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic and clinical direction of the cross-functional teams from preclinical experiments to the end of the product's life cycle.
+ Clinical Trial Oversight: Develop and oversee clinical trial strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements for SMPA and the future oncology initiatives.
+ Medical Expertise: Deep knowledge and expertise in Oncology, scientific rigor and understanding of the different cross functional teams to interact for the best outcomes for SMPA.

Clinical Trial Oversight:

+ Maintain understanding of competitors and clinical development in relevant areas of Oncology by attending scientific meetings and tracking literature.
Team Management:
+ Lead and mentor a team of clinical development professionals, including clinical project managers, medical monitors, and data analysts.
+ Oversee, plan, and manage the budget for Oncology clinical development activities.
+ Partner with Translational Research, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs to ensure the clinical program aligns with broader business goals.
+ Provide leadership and clinical expertise to the overall development organization including the clinical development, clinical operations, biometrics, clinical pharmacology, and non-clinical teams.
Regulatory Interactions:

+ Minimum of 15 years of clinical development experience.
+ Experience with proven leadership in leading teams and progressing therapies in oncology through clinical development stages.
+ Experience leading programs through regulatory pathways, including IND and NDA filings and experience in interacting with regulatory agencies.
+ Experience in both large and small to mid-sized biotech companies preferred.
+ Experience presenting to a wide variety of audiences including internal teams, Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, medical and scientific communities.
The base salary range for this role is $ 329,600 to $412,000. Base salary is part of our total rewards package which also includes the opportunity for merit-based salary increases, short incentive plan participation, eligibility for our 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances and leaves provided in line with your work state. Our robust time-off policy includes flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays plus additional time off for a shut-down period during the last week of December, 80 hours of paid sick time upon hire and each year thereafter. Total compensation, including base salary to be offered, will depend on elements unique to each candidate, including candidate experience, skills, education and other factors permitted by law.
