We are looking for a highly motivated post-baccalaureate candidate in the areas of intelligence and counterintelligence analysis, data science, data analytics, machine learning, data modeling, statistics, cyber-forensic analysis, computer science, insider threat, criminology, forensic psychology, or foreign visits and immigration. Your work will contribute to the laboratory's mission to solve national security challenges and the OCI's mission of disrupting foreign intelligence and international terrorist targeting of DOE and the laboratory without disrupting the scientific and technical mission for which we exist.

**You will need experience with the development of data analysis methods and techniques.**
**Research Expertise**
**You will need to have conducted research in one or more of the following areas of intelligence or counterintelligence, data analytics, data science, data modeling, machine learning, statistics, cyber-forensic analysis, insider threat, criminology, forensic psychology, foreign visits, immigration, or a closely related focus area.**
**Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, criminal justice, cyber forensics or security, political science, forensic psychology, or closely related discipline. The candidate must be within 3 years of completion of a bachelor's degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 at the time of the interview or will have completed all requirements by commencement of the appointment. Additionally, the candidate should not be accepted into/enrolled in another graduate program at time of appointment.**
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ BS or BA in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, criminal justice, cyber forensics, cyber security, political science, forensic psychology, or a related field.
+ Q-clearance or ability to obtain a Q-clearance (which generally requires U.S. citizenship and no illegal drug use within the past 12 months).
+ Familiarity with the DOE Counterintelligence/Counterterrorism Program and knowledge of foreign intelligence service methods and of non-traditional foreign intelligence collection.
+ Proficiency in a foreign language.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Enthusiasm for learning.

**Additional Details**

Job Description
Post Closing Specialist I is an entry level position into Post Closing. This position will be responsible for making sure that all the required documents that we receive from funding are reviewed and scanned into Longbridge's imaging system, AIQ. The Post Closing Specialist I will submit the files to HUD for insurance endorsement. It will also be responsible for ensuring all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements are met.
Primary Job Duties:
- Prepare case binders for submission based on HUD requirements to get loans insured in a timely manner.
- Prepare collateral packages for delivery to our document custodian for pre-certification of loans.
- Reviewing loans in FHA Connection (FHA-C) to validate which loans are insured and which loans received a Notice of Return (NOR).
- Print and ship all final documents dropped into a Sharepoint site to our document custodian to prepare pools for Final Certification
- Review and Log any final documents received by partners / title companies in our Loan Origination System (LOS) before sending to our Document Custodian
- Participate in ongoing training to elevate personal development and knowledge of the product.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
