**What you'll do:**
This is the entry point for a career in project management. Primary responsibility is to assist a project manager or managers to successfully coordinate a project using the necessary engineering, labor, equipment, materials, tools, and subcontracted services. **What you'll need to be successful:**

+ Basic knowledge of HVAC design to include types of equipment utilized in the industry as well as general understanding of system operations (i.e. variable air, constant volume, refrigeration cycle.)
+ Ability to read mechanical and plumbing drawings and identify work installed to track labor feedback accurately.
+ Ability to prepare equipment delivery log and track status of these orders.
+ Competent with general business writing and public speaking.
+ Has competency in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to procure, manage and update the submittal process.
+ Ability to communicate with field foremen to write and track RFI's both internally with our design department and externally with the architect or other designers
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including CAD drawings, Blueprints, Submittals, etc.

**Overview**
Tanaq Environmental, LLC. **Position Summary**
We are seeking a **Project Engineer / Geologist I** to support environmental restoration and compliance projects for the United States Government and commercial clients. This position will support remedial investigation, remedial design, and remedial actions for contaminated sites located throughout the United States. The job requires an understanding of environmental investigation and remediation concepts and the ability to ensure performance of work is completed in accordance with environmental regulatory and contractual requirements. The job may also require oversight of subcontractors and/or in-house field crews conducting site investigations and remediation of soil, groundwater, surface water, and sediment at PFAS, petroleum- and hazardous-waste sites.
This is a hybrid remote work role that can be based anywhere in the United States and requires an estimated 60% annual travel within the United States, depending on project requirements.

Requirements

**Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities**
POWER Engineers, member of WSP, Generation Division is seeking a Senior Project Engineer who will be responsible for the technical oversight and to ensure our quality control processes are followed for our power generation projects. The qualified candidate will be based in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA; Boise, ID; Hailey, ID; Overland Park, KS; Mount Laurel, NJ; or Oradell, NJ. A hybrid schedule will be offered, providing you the opportunity to work from both the office and the comfort of your own home. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Managing large Generation Projects for multiple disciplines
+ Managing support services as the Project Engineer including scheduling, estimating, and procurement for multi-discipline projects
+ Assisting in developing the project proposal and budget
+ Managing all financial and technical aspects of performance for the project
+ Building and maintaining client relationships
+ Collaborating with our Business Development team and assisting business development efforts for multiple projects
+ Coordinating with production departments for projects, project staffing, and project processes
+ Occasional travel will be required
**Required Education/Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering
+ 15 years of Project Engineering experience in renewables, heavy industrial, and/or Generating Facilities
+ Experience in a wide range of power plant technologies is valued including biomass, municipal waste, geothermal, hydrogen production and applications, carbon capture, BESS, hydro, wind, solar, gas-fired, and/or coal. Subject matter proficiency is required in one or many of these areas.
+ Capacity to effectively lead and oversee intricate projects is required

+ With regard to that portion of the work assigned, develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
+ Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost saving measures that arise or that may be encountered. Take corrective actions as needed.

+ Prepare monthly cost projections using information generated from project management systems and prepare quarterly cash flow projections.
+ Improve project operations by recommending, as appropriate, better methods, staffing and procedural changes.
+ Act as managing project engineer/coordinator on multiple projects, providing supervision and on-the-job training for lower level engineers.
+ Read and understand plans and specifications. Visualize two-dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
+ Manage and support project team including direct reports and others as needed
+ Help drive the company environmental health and safety programs at the project level, driving a safety-oriented approach to work.
