Motivated self-starter able to work with little direction. Proficient in CRM and other productivity suites (Google/Microsoft). Periodic travel as needed. Position Purpose:

The Sales Executive, a member of Shred-its sales team, is responsible for the direct sales of Shred-it's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. Key Job Activities:
  • Aggressively sell document destruction services to prospective customers in a specific territory.
  • In conjunction with the District Sales Manager, develop and set specific and measurable sales
    targets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline of opportunities for the assigned territory.
  • Develops and maintains a sales strategy for the assigned territory.
  • Maintains a personal level of expertise of Shred-it services and competitive solutions.
  • Develops customer lead activity through telephone and door-to-door cold-calling, appointment setting and direct mail campaign .
  • Participates in all sales and other training provided by Shred-it.
  • Implements and demonstrates best practices to sell Shred-it solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Participates in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager.
  • Reports daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager.
  • Maintains a responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to Shred-it operations, following the company's policies and procedures at all times and bringing the manager's attention to any area of concern.
  • Liaises with customers to understand their requirements with respect to products and services that the business currently offers or is planning to offer.
  • Establishes personal relationships with current and potential customers in the assigned territory.
  • Serves as a Helpful Expert in exceeding customer expectations on a regular basis.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Experience:
  • Post-secondary education, is preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years previous sales experience / prospecting in business-to-business services involving varying sales cycles and multiple levels of decision makers is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and strong internet skills.
  • Knowledge of sales theory and sales cycle.
  • Ability to travel within given sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

We are looking to immediately expand our team and add a Sales Executive for the Southern California area. Sunset Signs is an industry leader in custom archtectural and electrical signage. We work with many clients including Architects, Designers, Developers, Property Managers, General Contractors to create high quality signage. Summary The Sales Executive is responsible for day-to-day sales activities and development of relationships with existing and prospective customers. A primary focus is to target Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors, and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Increase market share through new client acquisition and development of relationships • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, trade shows, etc • Present Sunset Signs’ capabilities to developers, architects, general contractors, and retail chains to identify sales opportunities • Perform consultative sales for complete signage packages • Continually building product knowledge through participation in periodic training sessions, team interaction, and industry/sector events • Assist in the project process for site surveys, permits, and installs • Achieve monthly and annual sales quota and agreed upon weekly activity requirements • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction Required Skills • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role • Proficiency in English • Excellent knowledge of MS Office • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques • Fast learner and passion for sales • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations Education / Experience To be considered for this position you must have: • High School degree or GED or relevant experience • 1-2 years sales experience with a proven track record • Sign industry experience not required but is a plus • Ability to based in-office (position is not remote) Employment Details • Reports to: General Manager • Status: Salary • Salary Range: Up to $70,000 plus bonuses* • Hours: Regular Business Hours are Monday - Friday from 8AM-5PM. May be required to work overtime, including nights and weekends • Benefits (after 90 days): Health Coverage (cost for benefits may apply) Holiday Pay (6 paid holidays/year minimum) PTO (1 week min/year with increments at 3 years and 5 years) Sick Time (1 week/year) Retirement Account Match up to 4% *Bonuses are given on merit basis with pre-determined matrix. #J-18808-Ljbffr
