Supporting security settlements across 93 countries, the team ensures timely processing of equity, bond, and foreign exchange transactions, while reconciling accounts and posting credits and debits in accordance with European regulations (CSDR). Responsibilities include manually posting penalties, resolving exceptions, and communicating trade statuses across internal teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel-comfortable with macros, formulas, and building charts or tables-and demonstrates strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic. Job Description

The Settlements Specialist coordinates' settlement of securities transactions versus payment, oversees trade input and verification, conducts investigations related to settlements and monitors Margin call notifications and responses and Corporate Actions.

Main Responsibilities

• Validate and process trades in core system
• Send all margin notification to front office for review and resolution
• Monitor Work Corner for Pershing notifications i.e. unmatched trades, options assignments etc.
• Monitor Corporate Actions notification for processing
• Responsible for sending fail trade report
• Contact counterparties on unmatched trades and resolve any discrepancies
• Processing of coupon claims and follow-up
• Investigate all cases assigned regarding coupon payments, dividends payments or any update on securities.
• Process of Securities transfers
• Liaise with Pershing's international department and government clearance for urgent settlement issues
• Security Master amendments including unpriced security
• Process all trade correction: Equity, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Structured Products and Options
• Processing of treasuries on deposit at Pershing for Finance Department

Skills and experience

• Associate degree or higher.
• FINRA Series 99 certification required.

+ Ensure the timely creation of commercial invoices for export-related shipments.
+ Manage and maintain the back-office process for settling all Thru-put and export-related activities.

Position Summary

As a Senior Settlements Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert on CAISO and SPP Settlements within our Bid to Bill product line. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our CAISO and SPP settlement system meets the needs of our customers by interpreting and implementing CAISO and SPP market rules/changes, supporting product development, and providing advanced customer support. Primary Responsibilities

• CAISO and SPP Market Expertise
• Serve as a CAISO and SPP Trading & Settlements expert within the organization, ensuring charge code formulas and underlying market rules/changes are implemented within the PowerCore CAISO and SPP settlement system.
• Monitor and analyze changes to CAISO and SPP Business Practice Manuals (BPMs) and API Specifications, advising on required product changes.

• Product & Engineering Collaboration

The Settlements Analyst performs settlement calculations and responds to inquiries from the Market Participant's Account Representatives.
The analyst will demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the detailed settlement calculations and will assist with projects, as necessary, to implement ERCOT's Commercial Operation Systems, including future enhancements.

+ Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in the detailed operations of congestion, profiling, unaccounted for energy (UFE) analysis, settlement calculation and the associated grid/operational ERCOT charges
+ Assists with projects, as necessary, to implement ERCOT's Commercial Operation Systems including future enhancements
+ Assists with system development, product implementation, certification and testing
+ Develops and maintains a strong level of understanding of the competitive energy markets

EXPERIENCE

Job Summary / Purpose

The primary responsibility of the AP & Settlements Support Analyst is to support the accounts payable and commodity settlements teams with the billing, invoice processing, reconciliations and metrics. The Accounts Payable & Settlements Support Analyst will be primarily responsible for a variety of standard vendor payable job duties. In addition, this role will provide support to the Commodity Settlements during high cycle periods of work, assisting in the settlements processes covering natural gas purchases and sales, marine related activities, and LNG and heavy hydrocarbon sales. Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders across various departments including Finance, Commercial, Scheduling and Supply Chain.

1. Actively manage and deliver responsibilities of processing AP vendor invoices while following approved company policies and procedures, with a keen focus on accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. Enter invoice details into SAP and Endur. Classify expenses correctly to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
2. Actively engages in monthly tasks, journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Support accounting for expense allocations, payroll expenses, etc.
3. Actively engages in billing activities for the different operational areas
4. Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoices and ensure invoices follow the established approval workflow. Review and verify the accuracy of invoices for completeness and compliance with company policies. Ensure all supporting documentation is attached and meets established standards.
5. Contribute to the metrics and monitoring processes. Help investigate pending items and those not compliant with our SLA.
6. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices. Communicate effectively with internal departments and vendors to address and resolve discrepancies. Foster positive relationships with vendors to enhance collaboration.
7. Fully supports company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities.
8. Special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Minimum experience required of the position

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (preferred)
• Experience in top ERP systems, ideally SAP (preferred)

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

• Solid foundation of accounting knowledge
• Results focused, detail oriented, problem solving, and self-starter.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships and seamless interfaces across the business, including front, middle and back-office teams as well as with senior management.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to company goals
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools.

Compensation Range

Hourly: $20.90 - $6.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to monitor and process industry CMG Trade Settlement activity as well as, resolve reconciliation breaks, failed trade activity, money market repo trade settlement and assist with client trade inquiries, while ensuring timely and accurate posting for events within the CMG business line.

Essential Functions

• Process trade settlement activity associated with various functions within the business line

• Perform basic to moderate problem resolution on inquiries

• Identify and potential liability risks related to event types for Settlement Activity

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of traded securities and complex asset types

• Ensure accurate processing to avoid downstream impacts and reputational risk

• Help identify and mitigate liability risks associated with asset or settlement activities

• Monitor, research, and resolve discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of Traded Security Types and the impact various set-up functions have on other aspects of security processing

• Ability to recognize the critical impact of accurate set up and how it affects downstream processes

• Good analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to solve challenging issues and make decisions

• Ability to communicate with various levels of business partner leadership

• Ability to work independently, prioritize and perform varied assignments with frequent distractions

• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
