Hiring a Remote Speech Language Pathologist to work for a school system in Maryland.
Contract Duration : Rolling start date, goes until June 16th, 2026
Hours : Monday – Friday, 33.75 hours per week (6.75 hours per day). Start and end time is based on assisnged school and hours are guaranteed, not dependent on students attending session. Please note at this time we are only considering candidates who can commit to a full time schedule.
Interview Process: One Round – 30 Minute Virtual Microsoft Teams Interview – Candidates receive offers within 24 hours.
W-2 Position: We offer medical, dental, and vision which are optional to enroll in. After the first 90 days you are eligible to contribute into a 401k plan. Please note we are not able to hire individuals looking for a 1099 position.
Pay period: This position offers weekly pay.

Position Overview:
The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for evaluating students, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services in accordance with physician orders and educational goals. This role supports students from Kindergarten through 9th grade with speech, language, voice, and communication disorders that impact academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
+ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
+ Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to support IEP goals
+ Supervise related service providers including OTs and counselors
+ Utilize ACC devices as needed
+ Maintain accurate documentation using Paradigm Pioneer EMR system
Minimum Requirements:
+ Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in Maryland
+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Speech Language Pathologist, SLP Qualifications:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or;
- Have the equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for such a certificate, and be awaiting the opportunity to take the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association examination for certification, or;
