Bowhead is seeking a Stock Clerk to join our team in support of the Warehouse Storage and Support Services contract located in Jacksonville, FL at the Naval Air Station. The Stock Clerk will receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compile stock records of items in the stockroom or warehouse.
**Responsibilities**
Essential functions will include:
- Sort, count, and identify incoming articles to verify recipt of items onrequisitionsor invoices.
- Examining stock to verify conformance to specifications, storing articles in bins on floors or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size or type of material.

1. Accomplishing incoming and outgoing freight transactions, accurately completing Kalitta Air receiving documents in accordance with established procedures.
2. Verifying quantities, part numbers, descriptions, serial numbers, and conditions of inbound and outbound shipments. Completing Kalitta Air shipping/receiving documents by following procedures I/A/W the Kalitta Air GMM.
3. Selecting an appropriate carrier based on delivery requirements to ensure on time, economical delivery, being knowledgeable of common carrier terminologies to ensure accuracy of freight documents.
4. Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
5. The organization and cleanliness of the stockroom.
6. Separating delivery and pick up shipments for various departments. Preparing and packaging material for shipment in accordance with Company procedures, 49 CFR, and IATA Dangerous Goods.
7. Ensuring that inventory balances remain accurate by proper completion of Kalitta Air documents.

material, fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. This worker also compiles reports on the use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among production

- Receive incoming material from delivery trucks or MHE.
- Inspect received material, including sorting or weighing, to verify quantity/amount received against the delivery ticket/invoice.
- If quantity/amount is incorrect, pass the material and receipt to the assigned government employee(s).
- If the quantity/amount is correct, utilize the warehouse database to input the material receipt, identify the correct material location within the warehouse, and stow the material on location.
- Annotate the physical receipt with the quantity received and location.
- Pass receipt to the assigned government employee(s).
- Identify and record material issues in the corresponding warehouse database(s).
- Perform related supply functions as assigned by the COR.
- Issue material upon receipt of the approved request or work order
- Annotate issue documents from personnel receiving material.

- Inventory material and parts per the monthly inventory schedule published by the government. The following inventory types are required:
- Spot inventories (random)
- Perpetual inventories (daily).

- Wall-to-wall inventories (annually)
- Return completed inventories to the government warehouse supervisor.
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain warehouse spaces per established warehouse plans and safety procedures.
- Empty all trash daily.
- Remove all used packing material daily.
- Clean all spills immediately.
- Report hazardous material spills immediately to the government warehouse supervisor.
- Sweep warehouse weekly.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Operators of Material Handling Equipment will be qualified and licensed in accordance with OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.178, and MCO 5100.19F .
- Must Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work independently.
- One (1) year experience working in a professional office setting
- Must be proficient with computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365) To perform support functions in production control.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate and resolve complex communication or logistical-related issues.
EDUCATION:

The Stock Clerk performs both administrative, and physical tasks related to organization of goods. As a Espey Stock Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our inventory operations, ensuring the accurate and timely storage, and distribution of goods. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth flow of materials through our facility. Stock Clerk Key Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
· Accurately pull materials from stock based on verbal instructions, printed requests, pick lists, or material transfers, using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
· Maintain proper documentation for material shortages, transfers, and issuance of stock.
· Store materials in an orderly and easily accessible manner, grouping similar items within designated stockroom areas.
· Use a scale to count and verify materials, ensuring accuracy with corresponding requests.
· Bag and tag materials appropriately for proper identification and traceability.
· Deliver materials to the correct department and obtain required signatures upon delivery.
· Assist in conducting physical inventory counts as needed.
· Enter data from various paperwork sources into the inventory database to generate accurate transactions.
· Utilize the database system to research discrepancies, respond to material-related inquiries, and direct incoming materials to the correct locations (stock bin or production area).
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Must be 18 years or older
· Must be able to work full time
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands & fingers to handle and feel, reach with hands & arms, stoop & kneel, Life up to 25 pounds frequently & 5- 100+ pounds intermittently
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in working in manufacturing or production environments
· Experience in inventory control or stock room experience
· Proficient in following verbal and written instructions
· Technical training or relevant certifications
· Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
