  • Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into data science project requirements.
  • Develop and implement data mining strategies, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Perform rigorous data exploration, feature engineering, and model validation.
  • Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and presentations.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and ethical use of data throughout all projects.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of data science infrastructure and best practices.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data science capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management capacity.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
  • Expertise in various machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning) and their practical application.
  • Proven ability to manage complex data science projects from conception to delivery.
  • Excellent understanding of statistical concepts and experimental design.
  • Strong data visualization skills and experience with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
