The CDP APIs are the easiest way for developers to get started with building crypto applications. Conceived by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, these APIs enable those with no prior knowledge of crypto to begin using crypto in under 30 seconds. The CDP APIs are positioned to bring the next million developers onchain, enabling trading, lending, payments, and more.
The CDP API team owns both server-side APIs and client-side libraries across different languages. The team seeks an experienced staff engineer to build out a new team centered around embedded wallets. The engineer should be passionate about all aspects of excellent developer experiences: authoring excellent frontend SDKs in React/React Native, Android, iOS, Flutter, Unity, authoring clear and informative documentation, building compelling onboarding flows, interacting directly with customers to incorporate feedback, etc. The engineer must be comfortable operating in both frontend and backend codebases and demonstrate both high code velocity and quality simultaneously. Minimum Qualifications:

The Business Development Lead is a key member of the sales team, responsible for identifying and acquiring new business Mission and Enterprise Information Technology opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts. As a Business Development leader, the BD Lead is responsible to grow a suite of Government agency accounts and to identify, qualify, and prosecute opportunities within the Digital Transformation Line of Business portfolio concentrating on providing Mission and Enterprise Information Technology solutions. Focuses on expanding the out-year pipeline through active deal development, identification, and qualification efforts to create growth potential for new capability or client sets, as well as the protection of recompetes. Competes in both incumbent and non-incumbent workstreams, thinks critically, and strategically strengthens the competitive posture of the company. Leads strategic teaming efforts and leverages strong industry relationships, including competitors, niche capability firms, and small businesses. Leads and facilitates the development, delivery, and presentation of white papers and drives technical and acquisition client call plans and other outreach efforts to qualify and inform pursue or no pursuit decisions. Develops, qualifies, and prosecutes a growing pipeline of opportunities to win work and generate revenue and profit in accordance with defined business targets.
**Primary Duties:**
+ Identifies, qualifies and secures business opportunities; coordinates business generation activities; develops customized targeted sales strategies aligned to company, group, and line strategies focused on Mission and Enterprise Information Technology solutions
+ Builds business relationships with current and potential clients
+ Understands client needs and offers solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; pre-positions solutions to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
+ Collaborates with key business area leaders to secure, retain, and grow accounts
+ Creates informative presentations; presents and delivers information to potential clients at client meetings and industry engagements
+ Conducts customer visits; identifies customer challenges and requirements; and helps translate customer gaps into meaningful solutions
+ Participates in key capture activities such as checkpoint reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and solutioning workshops, proposal reviews, and business-case development; and shares knowledge/understanding of customer/opportunity
+ Develops relationships with industry partners that provide complimentary capabilities or customer relationships that can be leveraged to benefit business growth
+ Maintains a pipeline of sales information using company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
+ Collaborates with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintains short- and long-term business development plans
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 12+ years of DoD or Federal experience, with at least 5 of those years in business development roles within the Defense or Federal Mission and/or Enterprise Information Technology industry
+ Extensive experience with DoD or other government organizations
+ Demonstrated ability to execute the business development function with little/no supervision
+ Proven track record of building winning solutions with awards more than $100M, as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as part of an initial "gap analysis" assessment
+ Ability to assess the competitive field, to include all evaluation factors, both price and non-price
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active Secret US Government Clearance
+ Military and/or federal civilian Information Technology experience
+ Experience with Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and/or Multi-Agency Contracts (MACs)

**The Role**
Lead in the team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing complex software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects. May lead team to select and manage vendor.

**The Main Responsibilities**
+ Front-end user interface design and development, leveraging Lumen portal frameworks and design systems ( for building consistent digital products and experiences.
+ Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems via API calls.
+ Develop portals that enable Lumen's API developer community to manage their API service offerings via self-service user interfaces & automation and provide API consumers with intuitive portals to easily find, connect with and monitor their API consumption.
+ Develop reusable software components and tools.
+ Back-end development, experience creating APIs and services.
+ Contribute to overall software development lifecycle maturity, leveraging strong DevOps and Agile principles and practices (high quality code and testing, CI/CD, reusable software components).
+ Collaborate with and mentor other employees to ensure quality product enhancements.

**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ 6+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
+ 4+ years professional experience with a Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience
+ Experience developing web applications (extensive experience on front-end side)
+ Experience with Spring/SpringBoot framework, developing microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot

**Compensation**
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
