We are seeking a dynamic Strategic Project Lead to join Coinbase's Office of the CPO (Chief People Officer) to support the execution of strategic key priorities across the People Success Team (PST). In this role, you will be partnering with various Center of Excellences (COEs) to drive HR initiatives and programs to support long term business objectives, ensuring effective execution, clear stakeholder communication and orchestrated coordination. * Working closely with the Office of the CPO to tackle various PST strategic initiatives deemed business critical

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Civil Project Engineer to oversee diverse infrastructure projects in Indianapolis, Indiana, US . This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong command of civil engineering principles and project management methodologies. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial planning and design through to construction, implementation, and final delivery. The successful candidate will lead project teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and preliminary designs for various infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents for bidding and construction.
  • Oversee the work of project teams, engineers, technicians, and contractors, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal engineering codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, government agencies, and other project participants.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and reports submitted by team members or external consultants.
  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoicing.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity and longevity of infrastructure assets.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana, or the ability to obtain one promptly.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex infrastructure projects (e.g., transportation, water/wastewater, land development).
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with contract administration and construction oversight.
  • Ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop practical solutions.
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of engineering work.
