Job Summary:

The Driector (MarTech & Digital Systems) will own the digital tools and integrations that power Extraordinary Brands franchisee success. This role is focused less on traditional IT and more on marketing technology, consumer-facing platforms, and performance data .

Youll ensure franchisees have easy-to-use systems for lead generation, member retention, and retail, while also building EBs ability to see the full picture across all brands. Think CRM + POS + websites + marketing automation + reporting streamlined into a clean, franchisee-friendly ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities


Marketing Technology & Digital Systems
  • Own and optimize the MarTech stack (CRM, lead nurture, marketing automation, microsites, retail/e-commerce tools).
  • Streamline franchisee digital workflows to reduce cost and complexity.
  • Partner with marketing to implement campaigns that actually integrate with studio systems and drive measurable ROI.

Web & Digital Experience
  • Manage the EB websites and microsites ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and usability.
  • Handle light web updates directly (e.g., adding/removing studio locations, updating contact info, posting promotions).
  • Liaise with external agencies for larger projects (SEO, redesigns, new feature builds).

Data & Analytics
  • Build a unified data framework pulling from POS, CRM, marketing, and financial systems.
  • Deliver clear dashboards for executives and franchisees (royalties, AUV, lead conversion, campaign ROI).
  • Support leadership with actionable insights to drive system health.

Vendor & Platform Management
  • Oversee relationships with key digital vendors (ClubReady, Mariana Tek, FranConnect, Digital Stack, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor performance to ensure value delivery.
  • Ensure integrations between systems are seamless and scalable.

Franchisee Support & Enablement
  • Translate complex tech into easy workflows for franchisees and studio staff.
  • Provide quick-turnaround support for high-impact requests (web updates, campaign deployment, data pulls).
  • Act as the franchisee advocate when evaluating new digital tools.

Innovation & Future Growth
  • Stay ahead of trends in MarTech, digital fitness, and consumer engagement.
  • Pilot and integrate new tools (AI lead nurture, member engagement apps, loyalty programs).
  • Onboard newly acquired brands into the EB digital ecosystem.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in MarTech, digital platforms, or marketing operations (franchise/fitness/retail experience a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, and consumer-facing digital platforms.
  • Experience with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) for handling small web updates.
  • Data-driven mindset with BI tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
  • Excellent communicator who can bridge marketing, operations, and tech.
  • Resourceful, hands-on, and able to manage both strategy and execution.

Performs a variety of data compilation synthesis and extrapolation functions related to preparation of meaningful timely and accurate reports for all Clinical Engineering functions throughout the Health System.
Interacts with varying sizes and complexity of databases.
Performs detailed analysis of Biomedical Technology service agreements to include utilization rates, make/buy analysis, training return on investment studies, and time and materials risk analysis. Works to align and standardize contracts and provide additional value by leveraging purchasing volume across the Health System.
Furthers the biomedical technology strategy by focusing on deployment, training, implementation, and logistics.
Provides system administration oversight for the biomedical technology maintenance and management database supporting the Health System hospitals including UVA Hospital, UVA Community Health, Ivy Mountain Surgical Center, Riverside Surgical, and all outpatient entities. Extracts data from the clinical engineering database management system, uses the data to provide detailed analytics on repair and maintenance history to support ongoing operations.

+ At a Health System level; provides contract analysis and management services for biomedical technology, supports the clinical engineering maintenance and management database acting at the system administrator of the system, and acts as a project management lead for biomedical technology projects to include end user education, detailed logistics and deployment planning, technology configuration assessments, and detailed record keeping for regulatory requirements. Supports Health System standardization initiatives designed to create additional value by aligning vendor support agreements with aligned terms and coterminous end dates.
+ Consult with all levels of users to help them solve problems regarding the use and management of data as well as work on design, maintenance, and completion of highly visible organizational projects, creating efficient solutions.
+ Troubleshooting and issue analysis.
+ Performs data support functions.
+ Extracts data for reports including by not limited to the UVA Environment of Care Sub Committee, the UVA CH Safety Committee structure.
+ Under general supervision provides front line support for a user system distributed across the UVA Health footprint.
+ Provides support to work area operations.
+ In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School or Equivalent Required; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: 3 years of Relevant Experience Required in one or more of the following: Contract management analysis, clinical technology project management services, and biomedical technology database management.
Licensure: None required.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

The University of Virginia School of Medicine Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism (Department of Medicine) and The Center for Diabetes Technology (the "Center") is seeking a physician/scientist to join our team. The tenure-track, Clinician Investigator faculty member will be a joint hire between the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, and the Center for Diabetes Technology (CDT). Rank and tenure status will be dependent upon qualifications. This position is 75% research and 25% clinical. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the fundamental understanding of diabetes by promoting translational research efforts that will serve as the future basis for novel preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic strategies.
The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism is a collegial and collaborative team with a rich and long-standing tradition of excellence in research, patient care, and education. The Division currently has 34 faculty members (9 full professors, 7 associate professors, 9 assistant professors, 8 nurse practitioners, and 7 emeritus professors) and 6 endocrine fellows. The Division includes current and previous leaders in national professional societies including three former presidents of the Endocrine Society, a former president of the American Diabetes Association, a former president of the Pituitary Society, and a former president of the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research.
The Center for Diabetes Technology is directed by Professor Boris Kovatchev, Ph.D., a world-renowned researcher in the field of diabetes technology and data science. The Center's Associate Director for Research is Professor Mark Breton, Ph.D., a control engineer who has developed some of the most advanced artificial pancreas (AP) algorithms. Professor Sue Brown, MD leads the Center's clinical trials program including some of the largest randomized AP clinical trials worldwide. The Center has expertise in translational clinical trials including three pivotal trials aiming for regulatory clearance of a new AP system developed at the Center in different age groups, all published in the New England Journal of Medicine. Currently, the Center's grant portfolio includes numerous NIH, RO1, and UO1 grants and long-term industry-sponsored projects for type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The Center is translational, focusing on continuity from vision, to research, to execution of clinical trials - an approach that allows our faculty to experience all aspects of the development of viable therapies.
The Division and Center faculty will provide mentoring for an assistant or associate physician-scientist, leaning toward independence in translational, clinical, or basic research. The position provides a unique opportunity to align research interests with clinical activities to implement state-of-the-art, evidence-based preventative strategies, and treatment opportunities for persons with diabetes. In this capacity, the candidate will coordinate clinical activities with a multi-disciplinary group, including clinicians, other physician-scientists, and ancillary service providers.
