Duties Responsibilities

Labor and Delivery Nurses (RN), also called perinatal nurses, provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of the baby. • Cares for diverse critical and intermediate acuity patient populations
• Scheduled for night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00), with options for 36 or 48-hour work weeks
• Required to work every other weekend and must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays
• Floating within ICU and intermediate care units is required
• Uses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience required
• Responsible for delivering critical care to a wide range of ICU and intermediate unit patients as assigned
• Must adhere to strict float policies set by the facility
• Up to 40 hours of RTO can be approved per 13-week contract; additional time off is not approved after acceptance
• Must work assigned winter holidays and meet weekend coverage as scheduled
• Return staff must have a 12-month separation before assignment eligibility and cannot work more than 365 days in total at the facility
• Mandatory non-billable training modules (up to 16 hours) completed during orientation
