This role requires a hybrid work arrangement.  At Wipfli, hybrid is defined as associates regularly work in a Wipfli office, from home and at client sites.  The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Note that scheduled meetings at the client and in the office will require in-person attendance.
Responsibilities

+ Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients' annual reports.
+ Take part in pre-audit planning to assess the risk of material misstatement of financial accounts to design effective audit procedures.
+ Identify accounting and audit issues and perform research to solve issues.
+ Responsible for testing internal controls, policies, and procedures and making recommendations.
+ Perform audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
+ Proactively build relationships and communicate with clients and associates.
+ Teach, train, and develop incoming staff/interns.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required. Must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
+ CPA certification preferred. Candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered
+ Requires at 1-3 years of accounting related experience.
+ Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively on multiple tasks.
+ Adaptable to various levels of client complexities of people, processes, and systems.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to travel to client sites up to 50%

Job Description:

This role will drive strategic growth by supporting new business through API/data connectivity solutions that best align with our client's needs and Sun Life's suite of employee benefits (Life, Disability, Absence, Supp Health, Dental, Vision). The role will use an individualized consulting approach to maximize efficient use of technology to support successful client implementation and service experiences.

The Opportunity

As a Technology Implementation Architect, you will support Sun Life's National Account (2,000+ eligible lives) business (new business and in force).

You will be aligned with the National Accounts Sales/Service/Implementation teams to:

• Work closely with clients/brokers to understand a client's business needs
• Design and recommend technical implementation solutions and strategies related to: data connectivity, file layouts, APIs, custom reporting
• Oversee the execution of projects from start to finish

How you will contribute

You will consult on technical product offerings to complement Sun Life's suite of employee benefits (Life, Disability, Absence, Supp Health, Dental, Vision). You will use an individualized consulting approach to maximize efficient use of technology to support successful client implementation and service experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients' current technology infrastructure and business processes
• Develop comprehensive implementation plans tailored to each client's specific needs
• Collaborate with clients/brokers and internal partners/vendors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Recommend and influence technical solutions to meet client requirements
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the implementation process

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices

• Strong knowledge of various 3rd party technology platforms and software applications (Workday, ADP, PlanSource, Employee Navigator)

**Global Physical Security Technology Manager**
**Location:** This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The **Global Physical Security Technology Manager** is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and hands‑on expertise for all physical security technologies and related programs across the enterprise. Advises on the global vision for security systems, leads cross‑functional project teams, and ensures that access‑control, video, intrusion‑detection, and converged security platforms are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Guides the life cycle of security technology, from strategy and design through implementation, sustainment, metrics, and continuous improvement.

+ Defines and socializes the global security-technology roadmap, standards, and policies, while extending it to include an AI-and-analytics framework that covers data architecture, model lifecycle management, and responsible-AI guidelines.

+ PSP, Network +, A+, Security +, Security Systems or IT and AI related certifications are strongly preferred.

The Senior Architect - Process will lead in the development of pharmaceutical and life science projects teams to create world-class designs for Life Science Clients.
