Job Duties and Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

You’ll visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home tech.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- State Consumer Privacy Rights Program Management: Serve as a subject matter expert on state consumer privacy laws, shaping enterprise-wide data governance and compliance strategies. Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the corporate state consumer privacy rights program, including policy development and cross-functional coordination. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and maintain technological and administrative solutions that support privacy compliance. Monitor regulatory developments and proactively advise senior leadership to ensure program alignment with evolving state-specific privacy laws (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, etc.).
- Contractual and Transactional Support: Independently review and negotiate complex contracts, subcontracts, licensing agreements, and other legal documents. Identify privacy and data protection requirements, assess risks, and recommend strategic contract mitigations. Provide strategic, enterprise-level legal guidance on technology transactions and vendor engagements involving personal data.
- Privacy Impact Assessments, Transfer Impact Assessments, Records of Processing Activities: Lead and oversee Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs). Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs) in accordance with global privacy regulations. Partner with the global privacy operations team to manage cross-border data transfers, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR, SCCs, and other international frameworks. Collaborate with other functional areas, including IT, Security, Procurement, Contracts, and Compliance to embed privacy-by-design principles in enterprise systems and processes. Serve as a strategic advisor and provide training and guidance to internal teams on privacy and data protection issues.
- Draft and Manage Website Privacy Statements: Draft and manage website privacy statements and policies as required by federal or state law. Independently monitor legal developments and update public-facing statements accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to one or more State Bars is required.
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience required.

This position ensures the successful execution and implementation of customized solutions and organizational initiatives by leveraging advanced root cause analysis, reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), internal cross-functional teams, and partner vendor relationships. Leads, manages, and coordinates the delivery of an exceptional customer experience for all information technology services, support, and project deployments. This person is responsible for the daily management of cost, equipment inventory, system compliance, safety, and security of organizational resources (hardware, software, automation, and network infrastructure).

**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking an experienced professional for immediate placement to lead and manage our Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Transportation Technology group in Albuquerque, NM, including opportunities in the states of neighboring Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho. The ITS/Transportation Technology Manager will act as a state leader for this technical practice area working closely with other transportation department leadership. The position will serve as an ambassador for advanced transportation and ITS services, support business development and growth, and help lead, manage, and coordinate emerging technology projects and staff. As the Colorado state ITS/transportation technology leader, they will be responsible for:
+ Creating, mentoring, and leading a resilient team of professionals forming a sustainable ITS/Technology business
+ Developing, expanding, and maintaining client relationships in coordination with state transportation business line leaders
+ Identifying potential projects or work opportunities and collaborating with client managers to develop and execute project pursuit strategies
+ Maintaining and expanding local industry presence including actively participating in professional organizations
+ Interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments and managing technical elements of large, complex projects
+ Serving in various roles on local ITS/Technology projects or tasks as capture manager, project manager, technical leader, expert advisor, or quality control
+ Supporting and actively participating in production of technical deliverables by the ITS/Technology team ranging from plans, specifications, estimates, reports, memorandums, etc.
The ITS/Transportation Technology Manager is also expected to leverage their expertise to support expansion of business in neighboring states of the Greater West region and can be a subject matter expert resource for regional, national, or global business and technical excellence in various emerging transportation technology areas. In this role they are also anticipated to work closely with other peers and senior leadership in the company to:
+ Support the strategic growth of the business through targeted business development, project pursuit, creation of strategy, industry engagement, or targeted recruiting
+ Support projects outside of local market in pre-planned and agreed to roles ranging from project management, technical lead, expert advisor, or quality
+ Support the technical development and excellence of peers and similar staff in the individual's areas of expertise through formal and informal means of engagement
+ Coordinate and balance work assignments with peers in other markets to support work-life balance and schedule commitments
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering and 15+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience
+ 5+ years of leadership experience desired
+ Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado
+ Experience in managing a team of other transportation professionals
+ Established external reputation in transportation technology solutions in Colorado or other mountain states transportation community

+ Experience working for, or selling to, public sector agencies with a preference toward clients in the ITS and emerging technology transportation sector

**What You ll Do:**
+ Build or process hardware of a developmental, prototype, or critical nature
+ Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot hardware or assemblies; check and modify test chambers or fixtures.
+ Perform soldering and rework at the electronics board-level, often requiring a microscope.
+ Provide training and instruction to technicians and program personnel on IPC and industry standards.
+ Apply/enforce/comprehend accept/reject criteria and revision status from engineering drawings, MIL-specs, screening specs, or process certification training.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert to operate, program, and train on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to build electrical assemblies.

+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as required.
+ Maintain electronic build records, required logs, records, and reports in accordance with company and program policies/procedures and government regulations.
+ Inspect incoming or production materials or articles for conformance to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications; process standards and specifications; and production or process plans.
+ Serve as lead for inventory control on SMT production items such as creating stock identification, running BOM availability reports, and kiting projects, as required
+ Review and accurately interpret schematics, drawings, specifications, and procedures for completeness and compliance to contract requirements.
+ Assimilate diverse data and recommend action to address unique and complex technical situations.
+ Contribute to written and oral proposals and design reviews, internal review boards, specifications, work standards, and business processes.
+ Provide advanced instruction, training, and certification(s) on IPC/industry standards, specialized procedures, and techniques to other employees and may develop processes and procedures essential to departmental compliance.
+ Make continuous improvement suggestions, participate and lead projects in area of responsibility.
+ Effective communications and regular interaction with higher level management, customers, and internal and external auditors.
+ May plan and commit resources, coordinate, and lead the work of lower-level employees to assure task completion.
+ May participate in industry-wide working groups or seminars and be recognized by industry experts, suppliers, and customers.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Full-Time Salary Range: $58839 - $94143
