Join this fleet and you'll haul van loads for an established customer that's been with Roehl for a long time, and we're expanding our services.
You'll get home weekly in this dedicated fleet, and, depending on where you live, you may get home during the week with a load.
In some areas, truck parking may be at one of our facilities.
Your routes will be regular and regionalized.

When you drive through the states of New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island and portions of other states such as New York (the southeast section including the cities of Utica and Albany), Pennsylvania (east of I-81), Vermont (South of Highway 9), New Hampshire (south of Manchester), and Maryland (the northern portion, including Baltimore), you'll earn another 8 cents per mile.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Haul Truck Driver to support operations at the Quarry located in Rockville, MD. This position is primarily responsible to safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport raw materials (such as rock, gravel, and other aggregates) within the quarry site.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Operate Haul Trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, or crushed stone within the quarry.
 - Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.
 - Follow all safety rules and site regulations while operating vehicles on quarry or plant property.
 - Load and unload materials, coordinating with equipment operators and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
 - Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
 - Monitor truck gauges and fluid levels during operation and notify maintenance staff of any discrepancies.
 - Assist with general labor tasks around the site as needed when not driving.
 - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
 
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
 - Required Work Experience: Heavy Equipment Operation Preferred. CDL isn't required
 - Heavy Equipment Experience: Proven ability to safely operate haul trucks and other quarry equipment such as loaders or dozers.
 - Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to following safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quarry traffic rules.
 - Reliability and Work Ethic: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and a willingness to work in varying weather and production conditions.
 - Attention to Detail: Ability to perform accurate pre-trip inspections, identify maintenance issues, and manage material loads responsibly.

Additional Requirements:

Job DescriptionDCS Asset Maintenance (DCSAM) is looking for reliable non-CDL Drivers to help keep Virginia roads clear and safe during winter weather. This position is on an on-call basis and will only be needed during periods of inclement winter weather
What You’ll Do:
- Operate snowplow trucks safely and responsibly during winter storms.
 - Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules.
 - Do pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues right away.
 - Communicate with your Route Manager or Dispatch about any unsafe situations or service needs.
 - Take part in required safety meetings and training sessions.
 - Help other drivers or routes when needed.
 
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 18 or older.
 - Have a valid Driver’s License.
 - Pass a DOT drug screen, and MVR review.
 - Have a clean driving record — no serious violations or multiple accidents within the past 5 years.
 - Be willing to travel to snow locations and stay for the duration of the event (hotel, travel time, and per diem paid by DCS).
 - Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required.
 - Must attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts.
 - Work is needed, depending on winter weather events determined by VDOT.
