Job Description
A successful Truck Driver will have:
- A valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B (straight truck) license with acceptable driving record. Preference given for experience driving a belly dump, lowboy, tanker, mixer or straight truck.
- Must have and maintain a DOT medical card, acceptable driving record and required endorsements.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transporation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude and communication skills toward all team members and customers.
- Perform daily truck inspections and report needed repairs.
- Ability to transport material to designated location safely and in a timely manner with great customer service.
- Ability to follow work assignment instructions and/or orders of Supervisor.
- Starting, stopping, controlling and adjusting the actions of machines or equipment for which a course must be steered, or which must be guided to control the movement of things or people for a variety of purposes. Involves such activities as observing gauges and dials, estimating distances and determining speed and direction of other objects, turning cranks and wheels and pushing or pulling gear lifts or levels.

- Additional stops/pickups pay 25 each
- Total pay includes all bonuses
- Safety bonus is paid quarterly at .03 CPM per billable mile (if qualify)
- Weekend deliveries are a 100 bonus
- NYC trips (rarely and not forced) are a 150 bonus, if you choose to go

Pay Schedule
- Starting pay 0.56 cpm
- 6 months 0.58 cpm
- 12 months 0.60 cpm
- 24 months 0.62 cpm
- 60 months- 0.62 cpm plus longevity
- Bonus of .02 cpm will be paid quarterly which brings our top pay to 0.66 cpm

- Optional satellite TV in truck ( 15.63 deducted weekly but reimbursed at the end of quarter if you qualify for the safety bonus. Available after 90 days.)

- Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Must possess two years of recent verifiable experience, which can include military experience
- Must possess acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) based on hiring standards
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carriers (FMC) regulations
