Skills:

● Advanced troubleshooting skills on network outages.
● Working experience on Firewalls is a plus.

Maximus is seeking a VMware Administrator to join our team supporting a Homeland Security customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware technologies and be passionate about maintaining virtualization solutions in a mission-critical environment.

This position is an onsite role, 5 days a week and requires a secret clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Configure and maintain VMware components.

- Monitor virtual infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal resource utilization.

- Deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs), templates, and snapshots.

- Implement and maintain security measures for virtualized environments, including access controls, network segmentation, and VM isolation.

- Create and maintain documentation related to virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Active Secret clearance.
