Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Three (3) years' experience required and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related discipline. In lieu of a Bachelors' degree, four (4) years' additional experience is required
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server system administration
- Experience delivering sections of IT and telecommunications systems and solutions
- Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills required to work as part of an integrated team consisting of the customer, subcontractors, and other Peraton personnel
- Solid understanding of modern computer network operations and capability development processes
- Solid understanding of the basic principles of modern computer networking, including hardware, software, associated tools, protocols, and Internet architecture
- Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships in all levels of the organization

Systems Administrator in St. Louis, MO to join a team of IT
professional that are responsible for maintaining, securing, and
enhancing a R&D testbed network/environment across multiple security
domains. Our team is made up of cloud computing engineers, high
performance computing (HPC) specialists, network engineers and systems
administrators.
The environment is a state-of-the-art IT lab that includes
demonstration facilities, equipment and data services, high
performance computing, cloud services and expertise for advanced
GEOINT research and development. This environment provides NGA
scientists with computers, storage, and desktop IT systems and
software at locations across the country on four network domains.
The team’s objective is to keep the technology up and running, provide
innovative design, engineering, implementation, operations,
sustainment, and disposal of information technology (IT) services on
multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations
worldwide, to support the NGA Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT)
mission.
Required skills:
- Proficiency and hands on experience with (not just familiarity)
RedHat or some other variance of Linux
- Must be able to troubleshoot users’ problems with RHEL 8
workstations and servers
- Must have basic understanding of Networks and be able to
troubleshoot basic Network issues

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in operations analysis and design, systems programming or closely related area OR an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, managing and maintaining Linux servers (physical and VMs) within an academic institution or national computing lab.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu Linux operating systems.

We are seeking an experienced Linux DevOps Systems Administrator to join our SITE III JIOC contract team. You will play a key role in maintaining and advancing a mission-critical suite of applications supporting Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and intelligence operations. These systems are integral to intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers across the Combatant Commands, ensuring our nation's defense intelligence apparatus is robust, reliable, and always ready.
What You'll DoAs a DevOps Systems Administrator, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and managing CI/CD pipelines that keep critical systems running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, integrate, and optimize solutions that support ISR and joint intelligence operations across multiple agencies. Your work will have a direct impact on mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and optimize build and deployment pipelines, integrating tools and automating processes.
- Scripting & Automation: Write and modify Jenkins-based groovy scripts, update CloudFormation scripts, and automate workflows for deployment and variance corrections.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot pipeline issues in AWS environments (Linux EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, ElasticSearch), debug integration problems, and resolve connectivity issues between API servers and databases.
- Tool Integration: Integrate DevOps tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins, Robot Framework/Selenium, and Artifactory into the pipeline.

- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development and troubleshooting, particularly in AWS environments.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

What you'll do:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot RHEL 7/8 operating system issues on air-gapped networks
- Frequent use and understanding of man pages
