The Manager, Warehouse will ensure a warehouse culture focused on people, safety, service, and cost through meaningful engagements with warehouse associates, best in-class service to customers, and safe and profitable operations. They will use their experience in warehouse operations to manage personnel and drive efficient warehouse operations through the associates they lead, ensuring the safe, accurate and timely receiving and storage of inbound product or selection and loading of outbound product.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always. Champion safety procedures, processes and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
- Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example. Discuss associate performance with Sr. Warehouse Managers and create plans to address gaps.
- Create a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directing workforce to ensure efficient workflow.
- Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates within the warehouse department. Drive associate engagement and retention, and create a culture that embodies US Foods values.
- Participate in building high-performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel, in conjunction with Sr. Warehouse Managers. Review performance, coach on productivity and safety targets, and deliver disciplinary action.
- Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks. Oversee the preparation of the warehouse for shipping or receiving on the next shift.
- Monitor operational information, such as "mis-picks" and productivity reports, to ensure the entire shift meets rates and follows preferred methods. Take action through coaching and counseling to correct behaviors.
- On day shift, designate dock locations for inbound carriers. Ensure product is stocked in appropriate location in accordance with food safety and FIFO processes & procedures. Monitor replenishment activity to ensure stock is available for the shipping shift and to minimize the potential for "shorts". Oversee will call.
- Maintain physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment, including preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment.
- Work with operations management team to identify sources of inventory shrink and assist in development of an action plan. Analyze the current operations and make recommendations to improve on expense and cost control.
- Regularly inspect facility for safety hazards and either resolve them or report them to the safety manager as appropriate. Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
- Ensure Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and FSQA requirements are followed.
- Effectively schedule working shifts by leveraging appropriate planning tools (i.e., Microsoft Excel)
- Other duties assigned by manager/Director.
**SUPERVISION:**
- Direct: Union and/or non-union warehouse on-floor associates (Loaders, Selectors, Receivers, Forklift drivers, etc.)
**RELATIONSHIPS**

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
Related Experience/Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution required.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce required.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for safe and efficient operation of the warehousing and shipping/receiving functions for all USMMC Operations.   • Design, test, implement and maintain WMS system, resolve system issues and continuously improve system functionality
  • Create and maintain warehouse SOP, WI and all other processes, adjust to operation changes and continuously improve for higher efficiency
  • Set KPIs, engage in activities making KPI a more efficient risk management and continue improvement tool
  • Lead warehouse ISO activities to ensure compliance
  • Lead a team of warehouse supervisors, shipper/receivers, material handlers, and warehouse clerks responsible for raw materials, finished goods, non-raw material items shipping, receiving, transfer and storage
  • Ensure warehouse operation meets material storage standards and transportation standards and regulations
  • Maintain high level inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct raw materials, finished goods inventory count in compliance with company control and audit standard.
  • Prepare inventory report and root cause analysis; establish preventative/improvement actions
  • Responsible for warehouse safety. Work closely with EHS and all departments to ensure the development, implementation and maintenance of effective safety programs, and promote positive safety & health awareness among

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management position, preferably in an high volume environment
  • Logistics experience required for local, national and international shipping
  • Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in related field
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office, previous experience with SAP or similar ERP system
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Inventory Management
  • High level of self-motivation, motivation, initiative, and work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Well organized, energetic and a team player

**Job Summary**
The Distribution Manager manages all aspects of the warehouse and distribution operation within the Quality Control Center (QCC) to ensure adherence to all quality assurance programs, meets plant productivity goals, develops leadership skills in self and direct report team, while creating a safe working environment according to PJFS standards. This position ensures excellence in customer service through product availability, accurate loads within specified delivery/dispatch windows to Papa John's restaurants. 
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Maintain a high level of productivity through on-the-job training, measurement and follow-up. 
+ Perform weekly inventory counts to ensure adequate product supply; order product from selected vendors as needed.   
+ Monitor daily distribution of all products, including accurate records of all transactions, purchase orders, packing slips, restaurant invoices, debit/credit memos, and inventory count. 
+ Partner with transportation team to drive supply chain cost reduction opportunities/solutions. 
+ Drive productivity standards by analyzing metrics surrounding key performance indicators.  Recommend/implement ways to improve performance.

+ Establish department goals and objectives in alignment with PJ Food Service QCC and Company goals. 
+ Ensure compliance with PJFS Safety standards, Sanitation and HACCP policies & procedures, federal, state and local regulations (OSHA, FDA, DOL) and all Papa John's International, Inc., policies & procedures.
**Education, Experience & Certifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.   
+ College degree or equivalent experience in industrial/food manufacturing/distribution preferred. 
+ 3 years progressive management experience preferred.  
+ Working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and audits required, i.e., FDA audits, HACCP, etc. 
+ Formal continuous improvement methodology (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM, etc.) preferred.

**Overview**
CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Assistant Distribution Manager (ADM). The ADM works with the Distribution Manager to coordinate and direct the warehouse/distribution operations, overseeing labor, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and safety. This is an **onsite** position performed from CORT distribution center.
Preference will be given to candidates with verifiable box truck driving experience.
**Salary** **:** $57,000 - $60,000 / year depending on experience. This position is also eligible for CORT's Performance Sharing Plan (PSP) bonus plan.
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday. Saturdays may be required.

**Responsibilities**
+ Manage the control, condition, and security of inventory including its proper storage, handling, disposal, transferring, and cleaning and repairing.
+ Inspect the physical condition of warehouse and furniture.
+ Proper staging, loading, and unloading of furniture.
+ Assures proper preparation of furniture for shipment through assembly, substitution, loading, unloading, and relocating back into inventory.
+ Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions.
+ Provide and determines status of furniture whether retail or rental based on condition and age.
+ Manage the scheduling, routing, and control of all trucking activity.
+ Responsible for truck leasing, maintenance, and related record keeping.
+ Ensuresafety standards are adhered to in all areas of the warehouse. Providesnecessary safety education, including OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, monthly safety meetings, videos etc.
+ Ensureaccurate and timely cycle counts, accurate paperwork, and other procedural operations to account for inventory.
**Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required.
+ 3 years related work experience.
+ Prior supervisory experience.
+ Ability to self-direct, work independently, and lead a team.
+ Must have a valid state driver's license and safe driving record.
+ Must have reliable transportation.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ At least 3 months of professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle required preferred.
+ Able to assist with moving furniture and lift up to 100 pounds with a partner.
+ Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

What you will do in this role:
+ Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner
+ Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position
+ Place safety stock in proper location
+ Receive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s)
+ Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate
+ Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately
+ Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule
+ Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes
+ Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy
+ Rotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of date
+ Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrence
+ React appropriately to POU "critical point" messages and stock outs
+ Process all "returns to vendor" or "returns to backup stock" appropriately
+ Provide assistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and concerns at the nurses stations
