What will your role be?
The workshop team has a wide and varied remit, working to repair or refurbish a range of ATM parts and modules. You'll be taking apart electrical and mechanical components, assessing them, cleaning them, repairing them, testing them and reassembling. You will have the opportunity to learn a number of new skills, or advance existing ones, such as fault diagnostics or soldering, as well as gaining experience in multiple parts with the chance to specialize as you progress.

Position SummaryThe primary role of the workshop technician is to carry out maintenance and refurbishment activities on subsea and surface equipment systems and/ or associated tooling packages in the Morgan City workshop.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL:
- Carry out maintenance, (mobilization, demobilization, periodic and in-storage) and refurbishment activities on company owned equipment.
- Ensure that all work is performed to conform to company operating and maintenance standards and in accordance with all current legislation.
- Update equipment maintenance systems to record details of all repairs and maintenance of company owned equipment.
- Assist with preparation and mobilization of ROV systems and/ or associated tooling packages.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks for workshop group.
- Participate in observation system and conduct STOP audits on a regular basis.
- Participate in safety training courses and initiatives.
- Ensure that all tasks are performed using correct procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company HSE requirements prior to starting and during operations.
- Participate in creation of Risk Assessments and JSEA.
- Participate in QHSE initiatives such as continuous improvement implementation and monitoring.
- Adopt and promote 5S and lean principles.
- Assist with any other duties as and when required.
NON-ESSENTIAL:
- Participate in the company competence scheme to allow progression through company career framework.
- If required, travel overseas to provide onsite technical support.
- If required, attend project kick-off meetings to provide technical support.

Description of role: digitalLIFT hosts 3-4 monthly workshops at partner locations in San Francisco, where older adult learners gain computer skills. We are seeking volunteers to help with setting up and supporting learners during these workshops.
Primary Responsibilities:
Workshop support
Answer basic technology questions from older adults about iOS, Android, MacOS, and/or Windows platforms.
Guide older adults through basic technology prompts such as setting up and creating an Apple ID or answering questions about photo and file management.
Assist learners when they receive free device with lesson
Facilitate/ support Premade Technology Workshops
Teach older adults lessons based on pre-made technology curricula
Support older adults in following a lesson led by an instructor.
Clarify and answer questions about the lesson that arise from older adult learners.
Secondary Responsibilities
Workshop event support
Sign participants in recording client first and last names for program reporting
When needed, record client demographic information to support program reporting.
Assist with taking and providing photos taken during the workshop.
Ensure devices are properly set up at device distribution events, and that learners understand how to use their device after setup.
Skills and experience
Must be able to support older adults with basic technology skills in iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows.

Better Choices, Better Health (BCBH) is a chronic disease self-management program designed to help people learn skills to better manage their own health. This interactive six-week workshop is held in small groups of 8 to 16 participants and meets in-person at a community location once a week for two and a half hour sessions.
Each workshop is led by two volunteer leaders. As a volunteer with Sanford Health, you can use your skills to educate, motivate, and inspire others by facilitating BCBH workshops. Volunteers must participate in a virtual leader training prior to facilitating workshops. No previous teaching experience or health care background required. Personal experience living with a chronic physical or mental health condition is a plus, but not required.
