  • On site newly renovated fitness center - free to use for employees. Yoga and other classes available for a nominal fee.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze operating unit performance and provide variance analysis to summarize results and provide commentary to management.
  • Analyze quarterly financial activity and compile quarterly CFO Call workbook for review by Controller and CFO and submission to President and Corporate headquarters.
  • Assist in the completion of all aspects of the annual budget.
  • Identify and proactively provide solutions for automation and process improvement.
  • Provide key reports to various internal and external customers including ad hoc requests and development of new reports.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries.
  • Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls.
  • Support key projects as assigned.

This role will be located in our Scottsdale headquarters on a hybrid schedule. We will also consider candidates in our office locations in Richmond VA, West Chester OH, or Urbandale IA.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting and finance experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP or Statutory accounting principals.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Deadline driven.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
