Essential Job Functions
- Near perfect attendance
- Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure
- Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects
- Place glass in correct Customer positions into bungees, harps and squeeze racks
- Should be able to accurately reject glass from bungees and squeeze racks
- Properly close finished orders
- Must be able to properly edge delete glass without causing Quality issues
- Read and fill out proper unload paperwork (run list, packing maps)
- Should be able to set up customer orders properly
- Communicate with the Q.A and furnace operator in regards to quality or breakage issues
- Never allow the line to get backed up with glass
- Must possess a high sense of urgency
