Job Purpose:
Serve in the key role of providing a variety of warehouse skills, including the safe and efficient operation of forklifts, inventory management, order picking, material handling along with shipping and receiving, all aimed at facilitating smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely loading and unloading of customers’ products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, and standard forklifts.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas according to customer’s requirements.
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other heavy equipment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking inventory and verifying orders.
- Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Organize customers’ products by type or lot numbers.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement by contributing to the ongoing efforts to improve all experiences with MainOcean.
- Flexibility to work weekends on an as needed basis.
- Duties and responsibilities may change, and new ones may be added, at any time with or without advanced notice.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 + years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience proficiently operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices.
- Proficient in order picking and inventory management procedures.
- Ability to load, unload and move materials while ensuring balance and stability.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and systems.
- Strong focus on accuracy when handling products and completing paperwork.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
- Possess effective communication skills.
- Friendly, cheerful, “can-do” demeanor.
- Excellent time and task management skills.

Working Conditions:
- The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.

Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Work: Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 35 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 35 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
- Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

- Fingering: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling.

- Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
- Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Pay Rate
$18.75 to $9.75 per hour
Schedule and Hours
1st shift: 6:00 am until 2:00 pm, 6:30 am until 2:30 pm
2nd shift: 2:30 pm until 10:30 pm

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts, walkies, reaches, pacers, crowns, clamps, high-reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Perform pallet picks, case picks, pallet building, and load cases onto and off of conveyors.
• Handle cases weighing over 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift
• Ensure materials are moved and stored accurately according to operational guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended period.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Unload inbound shipments and transport products to storage locations
+ Pull, stage, and prepare products for shipment to meet customer service standards

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Operate sit-down forklifts equipped with box clamp attachments to lift, move, and store merchandise
+ Handle clamp and push-pull equipment for stacking items and maintaining organization
+ Safely unload incoming deliveries and distribute products to the right locations
+ Pick and pack orders with precision, ensuring shipment accuracy
+ Transport goods from storage or staging areas into outgoing trailers
+ Monitor inventory with regular cycle counts and stock rotation
+ Complete equipment safety checks and report any issues immediately
+ Utilize RF scanners for tracking and maintaining inventory integrity
+ Support warehouse tasks such as stock audits and resolving inventory discrepancies
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience with box clamp forklifts is a must
+ High School Diploma or GED is preferred
+ Minimum of 3 months working with forklifts or other warehouse machinery
+ Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
+ Flexibility for frequent bending, stretching, and reaching throughout shifts
+ Ability to work comfortably in varied warehouse conditions
+ Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
+ Eligibility for forklift certification
+ Strong attention to detail, basic math and computer skills (Excel), and a commitment to safe practices

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our team in Rincon, GA! This role is ideal for someone with solid experience using sit-down forklifts-especially box clamp attachments. **What You'll Do:**
+ Safely operate sit-down forklifts **with box clamp attachments** for transporting and storing merchandise
+ Use clamp, push-pull, and other equipment to stack and handle products as directed
+ Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage areas
+ Pull, prepare, and load products for shipment, prioritizing accuracy
+ Perform efficient picking, stocking, and inventory duties
+ Move products from staging and storage into trailers
+ Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation
+ Report safety concerns and inventory discrepancies promptly
+ Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and use RF scanners for inventory management
**What We're Looking For:**

+ Able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift/pull up to 50 lbs
