GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean at all times.
  • Shovels, plows, and sands walkways, steps, driveways, and parking areas as appropriate.
  • Checks daily to ensure that exit doors are locked and unlocked at designated times and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
  • Mops, sweeps, vacuums assigned areas daily.
  • Disinfects toilet floors daily and cleans sanitary and drinking fountains daily.
  • Maintains appearance of all windows, walls, and doors, on a daily basis.
  • Keeps the grounds free from rubbish.
  • Performs yard keeping, as necessary, to maintain the school grounds in a safe and attractive condition.
  • Keeps all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
  • Reports major repairs needed promptly to Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Reports immediately to the Maintenance Supervisor any damage to school property.
  • Conducts on-going program of general maintenance, upkeep, and repair.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in moving furniture or equipment within buildings as required for various activities and as directed by Principal.
  • Available for call-back in the event of problems within the building, to substitute for absent custodial staff, or open/close the building on weekends.
  • Cleans gym floor and replaces fluorescent lamps when needed, cleans tops of lockers, washes floors in the kitchen and cafeteria area.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in setting up for school assemblies and other public meetings.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in restocking disposable items and maintaining an inventory of usage.
  • Maintains an on-going inventory of teaching supplies and distributes as requested by Principal.
  • Disinfects toilets and bathroom floors daily, and cleans all sanitary fixtures in assigned areas.
  • Regulates heat and ventilation systems to provide temperatures appropriate to the season and to ensure economical usage of fuel, water, and electricity.
  • Raises the United States flag at or before 8:00 am on each school day.
  • Assumes responsibility for the opening of the building each school day.
  • Assumes responsibility for the closing of the building each school day and for determining, before leaving, that all doors and windows are secured and all lights, except those left on for safety reasons, are turned off.
  • Ensures the security of the building by checking all exits and setting the alarm prior to leaving.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Demonstrate positive work habits by showing initiative, cooperation, dependability, efficiency, and productivity.

We are looking for dedicated Paramedics who are passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care. This is a full-time opportunity with an attractive compensation range of $25.50 - $42.59 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working within progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment and perform procedures including defibrillation, EKG monitoring, and intravenous fluid administration.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide assurance and information about care being provided.
  • Act as team leader in managing the scene and unit as necessary.
  • Drive the ambulance during 911 responses, ensuring care is delivered promptly.
  • Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
  • Participate in community programs to enhance AMR's image and establish strong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid State Paramedic License.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands. This handwork requires eye-hand coordination, and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs
