Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
- Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

- Participates, develops content and facilitates value analysis meetings such as center based, division based, service line or physician led meetings
- Utilizes clinical product value analysis committees to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefit; discuss financial considerations to include contract compliance, cost and reimbursement; identify opportunities to standardize products and reduce waste; and maintain or increases product quality and patient outcomes
- Builds relationships and increases customer satisfaction with leadership, clinical leaders, value analysis teams and supply chain leadership
- Develops relationships and collaborates with leadership and staff, and supply chain to identify, develop and implement continuous quality improvement and cost containment processes for supplies, technology and labor practices
What is required for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy or other Allied Health Profession) with related experiences in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance
- Master’s degree highly preferred
- Three years of value analysis/clinical/leadership experience preferred
- LPN/RN, Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP), Certified Value Analysis Health Professional (CVAHP), or similar credential preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organizations vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
* Assess the patients condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
* Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patients medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
* Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
* Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patients medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
What qualifications you will need:
* Registered Nurse
* Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
* Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
