Responsibilities:

  • Set up all new projects in SL, including Labor Categories for time & material efforts.
  • Receive all change forms and ensure data is entered correctly into Microsoft SL.
  • Lead billing processing and maintain billing tracker.
  • Process larger/more complex invoices and ensure all bills are processed by the agreed-upon date.
  • Monitor fixed-price deliverable contracts to ensure prompt invoicing.
  • Maintain the Backlog report and reconcile unbilled balances monthly, investigating aged unbilled items.
  • Perform monthly AR and unbilled reconciliations to the GL, reconciling differences.
  • Monitor AR aging and follow-up with clients as needed.
  • Prepare schedules for bank loan reports to be submitted by the Senior Accounting Manager.
  • Coordinate billing activities with programmatic staff and log all close-out requests, ensuring timely processing or notifying requesters of delays.
  • Provide quarterly finance data to project staff by the specified deadlines.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision to the Billing Clerk and perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience with Time and Material, Fixed Price, and Cost Plus Fixed Fee billing for USG clients; USAID experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft SL preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and diplomatic communication skills, especially via email.

+ Strong operations knowledge having worked in manufacturing organizations and alongside operations leader and colleagues
