We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Lexington, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for comprehensive manual software testing, ensuring product quality and reliability. You will debug complex issues, perform in depth testing, and maintain meticulous test documentation to streamline our QA processes. This will require programming in Python and Selenium. JOB SUMMARY
The CATT Quality Assurance (QA) Tester fulfills a key role in SSDLC and is responsible for analysis of non-functional requirements for web-based software and APIs using structured techniques to identify testable conditions; prepare and execute performance test plans for load, stress and performance testing (including building performance test suite from scratch) and scripts ensuring alignment with standards and ensure thorough testing takes place for meeting all designated software specifications and compliance. Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) is a change delivery organization within the Corporate & Investment Banking's Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) that provides integrated change, testing and implementation support to Corporate & Investment Bank stakeholders. CPCS capabilities include end-to-end test management and automation, business analysis, data analytics and program management, which are tailored to enable strategic initiatives in the Wholesale Payments, Markets and Securities Services businesses, as well as cross-business functions such as Network Management and Client Onboarding (Client Tax & WKO).

As a Manual Testing Associate within Corporate & Investment Banking, you will provide Senior Business Testing Analysis for the Securities Services Line of business, in a cross business, cross functional project based environment. You will need to be flexible to provide Testing experience on other LOB's and support transformational Global initiatives within Cross Product Change Services. You will be expected to support the strategic roll out of an automated testing solution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage stakeholder communications, provide accurate testing estimates during daily scrum calls, validate and present test results for internal sign-off.
  • Document and execute test scenarios by identifying specific scenarios and writing test scripts using Business Driven Development.
  • Utilize test automation tools to enable efficient and timely end-to-end test execution.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate and synergize testing processes for assigned projects and share information with team members for validation.
  • Monitor and report on testing defects and manage the re-testing process.
  • Deputize for the Test Manager as necessary in project calls and communications with relevant colleagues.
  • Confidently raise concerns with senior team members and support resolution.
  • Demonstrate effective change management skills and adapt within a changing environment.
  • Understand own role and those of other team members, recognizing the need for flexibility to achieve project and organizational objectives.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail to prevent errors and highlight redundancies or opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Possess relevant functional and regression testing experience within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and the ability to learn and work with evolving methodologies.
  • Experience in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories, and execute test scripts.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to scope and structure complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes, and provide insightful remediation.
  • Utilize effective systemic data-driven reporting to support program reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, senior leads, executives, and clients.
  • Contribute actively to program updates, project, and team meetings.
  • Manage multiple projects and personnel to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and nurture effective and lasting relationships with colleagues, team members, and stakeholders across multiple business lines and global locations.
  • Work collaboratively and use effective influencing skills to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Possess a Project/Agile methodology qualification.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization and user tools like Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, and Xceptor is preferred but not mandatory.

We are seeking a QA Tester with strong expertise in Functional and Manual Testing within the Banking/Financial domain . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing both third-party applications and internally developed systems , with exposure to automation testing. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual and functional testing for internal applications and third-party systems.

  • Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports .

  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and QA peers to ensure requirements are met.

  • Track and manage defects using JIRA and support workflows with ServiceNow .

  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and processes.

  • Provide status updates, test metrics, and contribute to test reporting.

  • Support limited automation testing efforts , as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 6–8 years of experience in Manual/Functional Testing (Banking/Finance domain preferred).

  • Strong commitment to quality and detail-oriented testing practices.

  • Solid knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
