Job Title: Bioprocess Associate – Night Shift (6pm – 6am)
Location: East Syracuse, NY 13057

Responsibilities
Job Type: Contract. This 6-month position starts ASAP.
Schedule: Fixed shift schedule. 36 hours the first week, 48 hours the next week, alternating.
- DAY: 6AM – 6PM
- NIGHT: 6PM – 6AM

Position Overview
- Work is performed in a biologics manufacturing environment with classified areas requiring clean hygiene, specified gowning, and personal protective equipment (PPE). This is not a lab position.
- This is an entry level position that will train for proficiency within assigned functional area(s). Biologics orientation and job function training will be provided.
- 100% Onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set-up, operation, and cleaning of process equipment including manipulation of valves, hoses, clamps, piping, etc.
- Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L
- Monitor process parameters and escalate abnormal conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Sustain a clean and orderly work environment
- Achieve and maintain proficiency of above responsibilities through training
- This position includes physical demands which may involve bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, or reaching as well as infrequent unassisted lifting (not to exceed 50lb).
- This role will require handling and working with hazardous materials such as caustic, acid and steam.

Position Summary
The Manufacturing Associate will support Cell Therapy Operations at our GMP-compliant facility, playing a critical role in the production of cutting-edge cell therapies. Key Responsibilities
• Perform aseptic manufacturing operations within a classified cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with all cGMP and safety standards.
• Execute complex procedures for cell therapy manufacturing and sterile product operations—including cell culture, formulation, and cryopreservation—while maintaining strict adherence to written procedures, batch records, and cGMP regulations.
• Operate and maintain specialized manufacturing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Monitor and document all production processes with precision, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and escalate deviations or non-conformances; participate in root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Process Development, and Engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform routine cleanroom maintenance, including environmental monitoring, cleaning, and sterilization activities.
• Maintain an organized, compliant workspace by following 5S principles and minimizing contamination risks.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with manufacturing techniques, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Support process development activities during technology transfer.
• Aseptically gown and work in ISO 8, 7, and 5 cleanroom environments and stand for extended periods.
• Assist in creating and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records (MBRs).
• Review MBRs daily to ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Participate in audits, inspections, qualifications, and validation activities.
• Handle chemicals such as corrosives, solvents, and biohazardous materials safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably in cell therapy, biologics, or pharmaceutical CDMO operations.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols.

Physical Requirements

This role offers the unique chance to collaborate in the creation of wind turbine blades, crafting them from fiberglass and other materials. You'll play a pivotal role in energizing homes across the US by bringing these monumental products to life.
The Blades Factory in Windsor produces blades for the new V163-4.5 MW turbine as well as the 2 MW platform in our 666,000 square feet of building space on 161 acres of land. The components manufactured at our Windsor factory are used primarily in Turbines in North America, as well as being exported to Mexico, Urguay, Brazil, and Europe.
**What does a Production Team Member do?**
+ Efficiently operates manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols
+ Adheres to Process Work Instructions and engages in manual production processing to accurately fit and assemble components, such as bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings into a complete assembly.
