StartupRunner is currently seeking 3 interns who are passionate about technology/venture capital/startups to join our team in Austin, TX. We are an early stage investor that partners with entrepreneurs to discover customers, develop products, systems and services making an investment to accelerate growth. • Work along side the General Partners to perform customer discovery with our companies.
• Meet with and build strong relationships in the Austin Startup ecosystem.
• Work closely with portfolio companies, supporting business development, market research, growth etc.
• Assist with investment due dilligence.
• Assist with hands on services provided to companies.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years working with children.
• Adequate oral communication skills.

• Maintaining confidentiality of clients and their families.
• Ability to meet deadlines and independently manage tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with assistive technology.
• Ability to accept and implement feedback.

• 6 Months
• 20 hours a week
  1. Available schedules:
  2. Monday - Friday
  3. 8 am - 12 pm
  4. 12 pm - 4 pm
  5. 8 am - 4 pm

• Within sessions with clients:
  1. Assist in recording and graphing data for behavior reduction and skill acquisition programming.
  2. Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming with clients.
  3. Collaboratively problem solve when new challenging behavior/issues come up during session.
• Convert appointments in central reach with appropriate data collection and session notes.

• Attend and participate in weekly all staff meetings (If applicable with schedule agreement).
• Communicate with supervisor on any concerns with treatment goals, challenging behavior, and/or issues with families*.
  1. Issues to arise may include scheduling, treatment concerns, new challenging behavior.
• Assisting in making materials for instructional and treatment programs.

• Attend and participate in clinical meetings for Center-based staff.
• Participates in initial and follow-up training in applied behavior analysis methodology.

• Meet with designated BCBA mentor.
• Completes necessary training to demonstrate the knowledge of behavioral principles and instructional strategies. This includes implementation of complex curriculum and behavior plans, data collection, and analysis.
• Attends and participates in all training days for center-based staff.

• Able to do the following for extended periods of time:
  1. Sit
  2. kneel on floor
  3. Stand
  4. Walk
  5. Run
• Able to respond to crisis situations across numerous groups.
• Able to do frequent bending to accommodate and assist children.
• Able to lift 50+ Pounds.

Tradesmen International is hiring Electrical Apprentices in Des Moines to join our paid internship style program designed to give you real world experience while earning your license. You'll work full-time with experienced Electricians on active job sites while attending school and gaining on-the-job training hours that count toward your licensing requirements.
