Job Overview

The Warehouse IT Technician (Level 1) serves as the primary on-site IT presence at our local branch warehouse, responsible for the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of end-user systems and warehouse IT hardware. This technician will follow established procedures, assist corporate IT remotely, and ensure operational continuity through effective problem-solving and communication.


Key Responsibilities

  • Performs daily checks, routine maintenance, and support for IT hardware within the warehouse, including PCs, printers, RF scanners, and network cabling
  • Acts as remote hands for corporate IT teams, executing tasks as directed with minimal supervision
  • Follows and adheres to established IT procedures, documentation, and escalation paths for all service and support tasks
  • Uses Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair local systems as issues arise
  • Responds to, tracks, and manages IT support tickets using company trouble ticketing systems; assess priority and impact of new issues in relation to existing ones
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and diagnostics for PCs, peripherals, and printers (thermal, laser, and inkjet), and escalate when necessary
  • Creates and update technical documentation, such as step-by-step support guides, equipment lists, and troubleshooting flows, reflecting any changes in infrastructure or process
  • Maintains clean and organized IT workspaces and inventory of spare parts and hardware components
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new devices or software rollouts within the warehouse
  • Provides user support for software/hardware issues, including login problems, network access, printing errors, and application troubleshooting
  • Maintains strict confidentiality

About the Role

The IT Manager is a critical, leadership-oriented role that supports the entire business—both remotely and in person. SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support a US Government Client. The ITS will ensure appropriate network connectivity, computer hardware, computer software, and IT requirements to accomplish tasks.
**Essential Job Duties**
+ Install, test, and maintain hardware and software systems.
+ Perform system upgrades and configuration of communication systems.
+ Provide IT technical systems and continuous operations and maintenance support.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Associate's degree in the following field or in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Science & Technology Management, Information Systems) OR a similar degree from a technical trade school.
+ 2 years of relevant experience.
+ 2 years of IT customer service work experience.
+ Experience providing IT systems operations and maintenance support.

Kimley-Horn is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Analyst to join our Twin Cities office!
This office based role will train at our Twin Cities office (767 Eustis Street,Suite 100,Saint Paul, MN) and then transfer to a new office in St. Louis Park, Minnesota (MN) area opening in 2026!
**Responsibilities**
In this role, you will collaborate with both local and region-wide IT teams to deliver support to several offices. The selected candidate responsibilities will include the daily IT support of the local office and providing IT helpdesk support to end-users across the region/firm.
+ Provide support on our corporate IT Helpdesk
+ Install new printers/copiers/plotters and other office equipment
+ Install and support enterprise applications
+ Perform data maintenance and data archiving
+ Assist with office moves/expansions
**Qualifications**
Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology, a business mindset, a customer service-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, a willingness to work with others and the ability to travel. The successful candidate will be able to prioritize, troubleshoot/resolve problems and follow-through with internal clients.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Systems; Computer Science or related field with 0-2 years of experience OR
+ Associates Degree in Information Technology/Systems; Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience
+ Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, Teams and OneDrive for business, Exchange 365, Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, Networking basic fundamental
+ Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 printing and file level NTFS permissions
+ Ability to understand Windows 10 and configure and troubleshoot PC level problems
+ Ability to understand basic Windows Active Directory; user accounts and security groups
+ Strong communication, written, and customer service skills
+ High aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies
+ A self-starter that can work with minimal supervision; highly organized
+ Travel (driving) to other offices within the region as needed
Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000, depending on experience.
