Use forklift and pallet jack to move products on and off trucks while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Verify inventory and visually inspect shipments for quality.
**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped
+ Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse
+ Change over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flaws
+ Document and report damages to supervisors or leads
+ Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items
+ Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem
+ Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift

+ Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
+ Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
+ Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed

From inspecting products for quality assurance to efficiently managing inventory and coordinating shipments, you will be integral to the success of our operations. • Conduct process and product checks to ensure materials, parts, and products comply with quality standards and requirements.
• Inspect manufactured parts and products according to plans, orders and/or drawings.
• Report on non-conforming products including rejects, rework and/or customer returns.
• Develop and maintain inspection reports, participate in all aspects of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications.
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment where applicable.

• Prepares inbound/outbound shipments (sort and stage loading, unloading, packing, verifying, recording incoming/outgoing merchandise, and arranging for the transportation of merchandise)
• Perform Cycle Counts as required.
• Support and maintain a 6S working environment.
• General movement of equipment, inventory, WIP, finished goods and stock around the plant.
• Other jobs as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong technical skills.
• Good understanding of test equipment and quality assurance and quality control processes.
• 5+ years in quality or inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
• Understand and interpret Engineering drawings.
• Familiar and capable with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and apply problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and communication (both oral and written) skills.
• Valid Lift truck license required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
