Required experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering
- Strong in Petroleum Engineering Domain knowledge
- Fair understanding of upstream oil and gas business processes, the well construction lifecycle and the workflows involved
- Work closely with the Business functions to understand and outlines the business requirements and translate them into test design
- Provide understand the requirements and design test cases for providing testing support for Well Construction product development and releases
- Should guide and give consultation to testers and developers
- Understand the business processes and workflows for the product suite and design and articulate standard testing practices
- Creation of Functional, non-functional and systems integration test cases based on the feature requirements and maintain bi-directional traceability
- Report logical defects, triage with the development team and track them to closure
- Perform different levels of testing, including smoke, regression and system integration
- Contribute to UAT by engaging with the business teams and end client SMEs
- Able to collaborate with a multi-location team environment
- Hands on experience on engineering application testing and good understand if ALM
- Good understanding of testing tools and automation, such as Selenium
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on-call and extended hours as needed
- Experience in working in an Agile development and support environment
