Role Description
This role involves enhancing large-language-model performance on realistic reasoning tasks. Experts will:
- Write challenging, creative, and realistic tasks for AI models to solve
- Write gold-standard solutions to those tasks
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for clarity, accuracy, and comprehensiveness
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following archetypes: technical writers, editors, research analysts, academic editors, content reviewers, legislative analysts, reading-comprehension specialists, assessment authors, curriculum designers, or instructional designers
- Demonstrable experience creating Q&A, summaries, or problem-solving tasks for long-form content
- Ability to excel at deep reading and quickly synthesize information across a variety of domains
- Strong fact-checking and editing skills to validate and polish AI-generated answers
- Analytical judgment to spot inconsistencies, gaps, or misinterpretations in draft outputs
- Clear and concise written communication with high attention to detail
Requirements
- Collaborate directly with Mercor coordinators and the client's research leads
- Availability of up to 40 hours of work per week
- Fully remote and asynchronous work, flexible to your schedule
- Project length is scoped to last a minimum of 6 weeks with potential extensions
Pay and Legal Status
- Legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
- Payment at the end of each week via Stripe Connect

We are seeking a Game Design - Content Review to help drive the overall content strategy and objectives for the Minecraft Marketplace. This role serves as a critical bridge between partner designers and the Marketplace organization, ensuring that all content meets the highest quality standards. As a Content Review Designer, you will facilitate communication across design, engineering, and marketplace teams, while also providing guidance to engineers on workflow improvements and AI (Artificial Intelligence) integration. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining clear documentation on Marketplace guidelines and best practices in game design, as well as authoring workflow optimization documents that explain both the "why" and "how" of ingestion processes for design teams. Additionally, you will work closely with partners to ensure their content aligns with Marketplace standards and policies, acting as a vital source of communication between the partner program and the broader organization. Simply put, you will play a key role in shaping the continued design evolution of the Minecraft Marketplace.

**Responsibilities**
+ Act as the main point of contact for partner designers, supporting collaboration and feedback.

+ Embody our Culture ( & Values ( qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Data Science, Game Design, or related field AND 2+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related field OR Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Art, Writing, Behavioral Science, Game Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience in game development and design, systems design, content production, or related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ 2+years experiencetaking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
+ 4+years experienceimproving product metrics for a product,feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
+ 4+yearsexperiencedisrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
+ 1+ year(s) of experience reviewing Game content.
Game Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $99,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD 131,400 - 215,400 per year.
