- Follow all safety and operational guidelines
Requirements:

What You'll Do:

Unload and receive inbound furniture orders which will require manually moving large, heavy goods.

Use scan technology to document pertinent carton level information, including condition, quantity, and warehouse location of material.

Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any Overage/Shortage/Damage issues.

Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and up to date.

Pick deliveries from inventory and stage them by truck and stop number.

Provide direct input into the existing user tools and make recommendations for improvements based on your everyday experience.

Be a vocal contributor on the team.

Work effectively with peers and managers.

Identify the most efficient way to complete assigned tasks and asks clarifying questions when appropriate.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse and getting orders ready for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
- Pick ordered items from warehouse locations using barcodes, serial numbers, etc., and ensure accuracy.
- Use ERP system and shipping software to process orders.
- Operate handling equipment according to safety regulations
- Manage stock control, including item replenishment and storage
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleanup and daily maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of (1) years of industry or related experience preferred.
- Forklift Certified preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, and Zebra Technical Printing Software, SAP experience preferred.
- Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to retrieve and put away inventory.

- The majority of work will be performed in a non-climate-controlled environment. The employee will be exposed to severe, inclement weather and varying degrees of extreme temperature. The employee may be exposed to various industrial chemicals and cleaning agents, as well as strong odors and loud noises.
Schedules will vary depending on business needs and may entail working nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
